And how does it help us move on from the fking mess he helped create ?

It doesn't.

What ideas does Farage have to stop or economy going doyen the toilet (due due brexit or any other reason) ? None.

He's just full of pics and wind and nothing else and is adored by those who can't think for themselves.
How about those who can't type for themselves?

As pointed above, at least the weapons grade bellend actually managed to turn up this time.
You prefer Junker et al then do you?
If someone is drawing a wage, I expect them to earn it.
He was elected to get us out of the EU, and that is exactly what he has done. Of all the politicians on the current world stage, he is most deserving of his salary.

He has earned every penny, and we are all better off to the tune of £10Bn a year.

Yes he's been hugely influential (on this single topic) whilst at the same time never been elected to a British Public office. Is this the famous British democracy the leavers are so determined to protect?
Yes:

The majority of people supported his views on leaving the EU.
The majority of people did not support the wider policies of his party.

They voted accordingly.

That's exactly democracy in action - why don't you understand this?

Farage seems to be too emotionally involved to debate sensibly. Perhaps it is because of his history, being the guy that decided to stand and try to make Brexit happen against the wishes of the EU and UK parliament and initially, the majority of the population.

There is a lot of "I won and you need to listen to me" about his speech today, rather than a pragmatic approach to getting a message out to the EU on behalf of the UK.

I have not seen him live at the EU before but I would say that was a poor choice of content and a poor performance.
We finally agree on something! biggrin

I have wondered all though this what Nigel's angle was. Boris was to be MP. Gove was likely similar.
Nigel's was never clear but I'm starting to suspect it was ego.

You don't have to agree with him, or the way he delivers the message. Millions do. And even his fellow MEPs have cheered him in the the past - on so many occasions. The man deserves recognition.

I thought his speech was awesome.

"When I said I was going to lead a campaign for Britain to leave the European Union, you all laughed at me."

"YOU'RE NOT LAUGHING NOW!"

Love it!
Let's hope they don't have the last laugh

Net contribution, but as we all know it is not as simple as that. The loss in trade could easily drown that (will hurt both parties), equally new trade could enhance it for us- in time.

Autocorrect.

And you boys just keep laughing because I don't think you have any clue, just like Nigel.

The EU refused to reform. We threatened to consider leaving. They said they wouldn't reform and we can ps off. So we chose to ps off. Now they are thinking of reform to keep members from swaying. They also want to make our exit punitive as a warning to others. France, Germany and Italy are having talks about this. What about the other member nations? Where are their voices and opinions?
Now, for honourable reasons, Nigel should be magnanimous in victory but I think his game plan isn't just to get the UK out but to destroy the EU as it stands. For that reason, while people across other member nations are beginning to question the organisation, he has the bit between his teeth and is off to the races.
