I will ask this. Is democracy important to you? Do you feel that we should be taken from what was a trade agreement into a integrated Europe, where there is one army, one overruling court and unelected commissioners calling the shots over and above our elected politicians?

As I see it the majority of remainers want reform, what part of it isnt going to happen do you not grasp?
Cameron was given token gestures in a ploy to get a remain vote. It failed.

Another thought.

Dont be so sure ( as the remain voters were they were going to win) that if democracy were ignored and a second referendum be called, that those with remorse vote remain, but those fence sitters that have seen the doom and gloom lies may well think they will change as well.

I listened to the BBC programme this morning thats linked above, the 3 "experts" on there contradict the OP's statement completely saying the PM can start Art 50 without Parliament agreeing and added that Scotland cant stop it.

Since starting this thread yesterday I have conversations with every client who came to see me, every one no exceptions, have told me how shocked they are that we are now in this position, some who voted out now realise that their expectations are not to be realised and are wishing that they have voted the other way, in my opinion we as a country have made a wrong decision and should be allowed to change our minds, so MP's please listen and act.
I know on this forum there will be disagreers but please no more rudeness this is a serious debate for all of us.
Your clients are morons.

Well, no wonder! The amount of hysterical p1sh on these threads has reached epic proportions.

Soov's right, his clients are no better than the endless Mums-netters on here whining and wailing.

Britain, a country of pussies! Maybe we need this Brexit to get people off their arses and get some pride back.

I live in Norway where everyone just accepts anything that is done to them. It's very sad to see a population who are past caring about happens as long as they are lent loads of money and don't have to work much or many hours.

There is no such thing as a plain vanilla democracy. not as a governmental system anyway.

We live in a parliamentary democracy. it is very different and actually exists.

We elect politicians to think and decide for us. We elect them to be experts and make decisions that are right and good for us.
IF we had a full democracy, as in a vote for every decision made ever, our country would be fked. the majority would vote for:
>no taxes
>police on every street patrolling 24x7
>10 minute waiting times for elective surgery on the NHS
>corporal and capital punishment
>caning at schools (not the drugs type)
>no black, asian, and thing other than white people allowed in the country
>no migration of any people at all
>other than our own citizens going on holiday
>no VAT
>free SKY and TV
>benefits for everyone etc etc.

sound good to you? People are idiots. We (Including me) know nothing. We are not experts, we do not have all the facts, we should not be given bloody referendums either!

That goes equally for MPs and almost equally for their civil service advisers.

On matters of constitutional importance, at least, we should.

As a work colleague in Germany said to me yesterday "Here we don't allow referendums, so as to protect the country from the people"

like the constitutional reform act of 2005? or the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Act 2011 or Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011?

constitution changes all the time. want a referendum on each and every one of these? Given how hard the public found it to understand this referendum, how well do you think they would fare with changes to the judicial functions of the president of the council?

If I'd have listened to (so-called) experts during my life it would have been truly different.
ie: fked!

God save me from (so-called) experts!

Great, so when you next get ill I presume you won't bother going to a doctor, after all, no need for experts.

Iceland population - 330,000
England population - 55 million

A GP is not an 'expert', he or she is a 'professional' who gives their diagnosis.
On plenty of occasions wrong!
Been there.

I said 'so-called' experts. Loads of them everywhere. Know it alls, many who know sweet FA.

But .. but .. the BBC and Guardian say the sky is falling cos of evil Brexit. And having to accept someone else's opinion just because the majority of people voted for it is UNFAIR! Waaaaah! Where's my safe space?
