Gibraltar is a major intelligence post.
The soviet navy southern fleet have to drive right past it
We shouldn't be giving it up when it is so important to NATO.
NATO is the UK and the Americans all the others make up numbers and whinge about the cost,we really shouldn't be giving up such a valuable intelligence asset when the Russian bear is getting aggressive again.
Given our European neighbours history with changing sides/rolling over who would you trust with Gibraltar?
Hey, no problem with the Spanish taking over, surely? They'll be just as conscientious...........The soviet navy southern fleet have to drive right past it

Britain won Gibraltar. Spain lost. End of.
Given Spain is actively trying to steal islands from Morocco (Perejil), the Spanish and EU hypocrisy around Gibraltar is astounding.
If Spain invades Gibraltar, just drop a Trident or two on Madrid and Barcelona. That will focus minds.

It time we started to realise all these wkers making threats are nobodies. Spain is fked, well and truly, just look at the stats for the economy. We as Brits should now say fk them. Don't spend your pounds there, go on holiday somewhere else, don't buy Spanish produce in the shops, let is fking rot and let Tesco throw it away.
Same for any country that wants to start waving their billy big balls about.
There's plenty more places to get your tapas and plenty of sunny places with British pubs to take your hols in.
Spain, st em.

Let's rephrase that bit above about I love Europe. Personally, I mean its people. Those governing are a different kettle of fish, as around the world. The thing here with Spain (those in charge) is it has been rattling its sabres for years about Gib. For f. sake, many of those going to work on the Rock each day are, wait for it Slasher...
Spaniards!
It's the c. in charge who rattle the sabre, not its peoples (most find it hard to exist now, thanks to the fools in charge). As for the latest escapade, that's thanks to the dicks running the EU who allowed this latest thing to happen.
The sooner we are rid of them, the better. IT'S A GRAVY TRAIN!
Oh, I'm curious. Just looked at your profile. No, it's not a hobby, I rarely do it unless it's a new poster.
WTF is an English Electric Lightning doing there? Have you got one in your back garden? Or do you harp back to a golden age, ie the good old days?
They were you know!
I thought you hated the old days?
I would have thought you were in nappies at the time it was retired?
Are you hiding something? Do you have wrinkles and we've got it all wrong?

Listen, Snowflake, read what is written here. Spain are using a process from a democratically processed decision for us to leave the EU as an excuse to try to interfere in a matter that is NOTHING to do with the EU. Nothing. I say, if they want to be so pathetic, fk them. Spend your money elsewhere. Spain is fked, it has massive corruption, huge unemployment, massive youth unemployment etc etc, and yet, instead of worrying about all the issues that make their country so st, they try to start bein billy big balls over Gibraltar, the days after article 50 is triggered. It tells us all we need to know about Spain, they're fking deluded, they're riding the EU gravy train as a massive net beneficiary of it, as such they have no desire nor need to get their own house in order. Instead, they want to try rattling a few cages over Gibraltar.
The subject of this thread is Gibraltar, if you don't like their patriotism, or indeed mine, fking do one. I hope UK Govt sticks up for the Rock, and ignores the fking tts in Spain. And I hope others follow suit and take their business and tourist pounds elsewhere. Maybe then, the Spanish people will start to try to hold it's Govt to account, and start to take a bit of control over their future as the British public have.

Jesus tittyfking Christ. Spanish newspaper says Spanish will get "progress" shocker. Even they can't bring themselves to say it'll amount to anything concrete.http://elpais.com/elpais/2017/03/31/inenglish/1490...

What's the matter? Couldn't even find a single article between the Guardian and Independent article to troll with?

Now I'm sure the UK government will do its best, but it has hardly any cards to play, and you shouting and swearing about it won't change that.
It's just mildly amusing.

Bit tongue and cheek but could we not guarantee existing rights to all EU people currently in the UK legally but not to the Spanish?Same for any country that wants to start waving their billy big balls about.

The UK joined what is now the EU "with" Gibraltar and now wants to leave - why should the ownership or sovereignty of one of our overseas territories now be called into account?
The EU is foolish if it wishes to stoke the fires of Spanish nationalism and all the travails such an issue will bring, fk them I say.
