Query on the brake discs on the new mustang.
Picked up the car on the weekend, all the brake discs look a bit rusty. It's been standing a few weeks at the dealers. Is this to be expected or should I take it back to the dealer ?
Anyone else notice this on theirs and/or raised it an an issue.
Cheers

Any car parked up for even a few days will have signs of rust showing on brake disks, nothing to worry about as it will be worn away within a few miles of braking smile

It's normal for a car that's been parked for a while (especially around see air) and they should "freshen up" with normal driving

Perfectly normal ...... the iron content in the discs. Easy way to stop it though - pick yourself up a set of carbon ceramic brakes! biggrin
