So... Brexit had won, and Cameron, having lost, has announced he's leaving.

Multiple candidates have thrown their hats into the ring, but strangely Boris hasn't Benn one of them, and neither has Gove for that matter.

Now, it seems to me that if I'd just won the biggest battle of my career and bought about the most important change in British politics in seventy years, I'd be desperate to capitalise on my victory and push for the most powerful position in the nation.

Strangely, however, Boris hasn't put himself forward for the position!

Of course, he may well have just fallen asleep on his sofa whilst watching PMQs, and if he has, he may yet wake up and put himself forward for the leadership of the Conservative pasty, but if he doesn't, I'd be very interested to know what impact his decision has on Leave voters?

Other: I think Boris is a pecker and I voted leave in spite of him, not because of him.

this. i do think he will serve a purpose ,particularly if he sticks to cracking jokes during negotiations with the eu and lets jacob rees mogg get on with the serious stuff. if he is still leader at the next general election i think the tories would lose.he is not as popular across the country as some believe. all imo.

I don't believe he put much effort into his campaign, I don't think he expected to win, nor does he want to leave the EU.

We keep being told he's far brighter than he appears yet he's made many, well publicised mistakes in his career.

I don't think he wants to be the next PM as he'd have to sort this mess out and I certainly don't think he's the man for the job.

The next PM will the sacrificial lamb that gets us our brexit deal.

I don't think they will be able to stop the free movement part of an EU deal.

Then Boris will make a real run for PM.
