Given he is half German half Iranian there is a possibility it was then. Again it could be anything. ISIS did claim it too so you'd assume it's more likely than not.

Just to put that in to some sort of context; 28,000 is the capacity of the Britannia Stadium. Every ten years, a stadium full of kids are shot and killed in the US.

How do you know the attackers were recent arrivals from the middle east?
