Nothing to do with... oh wait.

I feel quite ashamed how desensitised I've become to all these tragedies frown

Great, more senseless violence. Can we not just have a week off for once?

You know the worlds in a mess when the Taliban start condemning attacks

This year started with monthly attacks, then seemed to go to weekly. It seems daily now. People will stop caring and reporting on it if it continues like this, it's too much to take in.

So are we going to have Je Suis Kabul now? Will the Eiffel Tower be coloured like the Afghan flag.?

Are this is just for European victims?

Amazing how this loss of life was reported on the news esrlier.

'Police say the Munich shooter had depression.'
'In other news, 80 dead and 200 injured in Afghanistan.'

Such a tragic loss of life is just 'other news' now.

If we did it for every bomb set off in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria etc, it would be lit up constantly, sadly.

Markets seem to be bombed daily, especially in Iraq, still not actually sure what they are trying to achieve ?

Maybe they just like death and destruction and are exporting it to Europe, and of course we get more concerned if it is on our doorstep, we dont want that way of life and general lack of value for life, I saw a video the other day that was posted on Facebook, shocked me, basically a woman seen by the ISIS boot boys without a veil, so her punishment, to knell down and was shot through the top of her head, that is fked up.

The ME is basically like a live action gore version of Lord of the Flies, all the little boys being hard men because they dont have a proper dictator to keep them in line, I dont think democracy works in the ME as a rule, needs a hard line evil bd in charge.

This isnt Islamaphobia by the way, its murderous terrorist a phobia.

I tell you what, let us know when the other Middle Eastern countries give a st and we'll do the same. Or alternatively, why don't UK Muslims go on a march to demonstrate their collective outrage or hold a vigil - or do they not give a st too? I'll join them, if they do either.

Sad loss of life, but just another day in that country.

ISIS hate everyone who does not want to join their death cult.

It's a dark day when a group has to go to war with the Taliban because they are not extreme enough:

Religion has a lot to answer for.

I wonder how many unnecessary deaths can be attributed to religion? I am a Christian I think I'm more atheist than I am religious - but I've sadly had losses of friends at tragically young ages and I really do hope there is a heaven. However year affer year there are crimes so horrific it makes you challenge the thought that there is a god and why that God isn't stepping in to prevent it yet bother ever happens things keep getting worse.

Oddly we seem to get sanitised to more and more horiffic crimes it's wrong and it's deeply concerning

Religion is the means to control and take power. If it was not religion, people would be killing in the name of something else.

Likely yes.

Still for me even though I'm not religious that hope of maybe something after you die does give relief even if you honestly believe in nothing which is where I think I'm at sadly. I couldn't imagine not seeing my kids grow up and have a family of their own and be happy I hope I'm around to witness and enjoy it.

Indeed.
