Sincerely hope that we don't have to hear later that the tigers were destroyed.
Are they available to hire for family functions?

Brown bears are the most fearsome predators on the planet. When placed in a cage with a Lion the poor old Lion didn't even get a look in.
I've sat 20ft away from a Silverback Gorilla in the wild in Rwanda. I'm fooked if I'd go any further up the Animal School of Hard Knocks!
So have I tongue out however they are no match for either Lions or Tigers. Let alone bears.

Might be BS, but I heard that they are the only living creature aside from humans who kill for no reason - food, threatened etc.

Double hard bds

I read there was a fashion in the 1800s to have touring fairs in the US with bears versus lions or tigers and they had to handicap the bears otherwise they'd slap the tigers face off.

Yes that's where I've read about it.

I think in a straight fight where the bear knows what's coming a Tiger has no chance vs an adult bear, but in the wild Tigers kill bears buy ambushing them, they drop down on the bears from above get them in a sort of armlock and bite through the spine.

My favourite animal is a Liger.

Specifically bred for its skillz in magic
only problem is that the majority of Ligers really look like something out of a mad scientists failure portfolio frown the ones that do work however are bloody amazing!!

Killer Whales, too. In fact I think quite a few animals do.

The 'who would win in a fight' hierarchy tends to be between animals that would never meet in nature. Each is top of the tree in their environment. I doubt there's anything tougher than a tiger in Asia, a Polar bear in Antartica, a lion on the African plains, etc.

I personally think tigers are the most magnificent of mammals. But you stick one in a pen, and drive cars full of tastey primates past it every day. Seems like cruelty of the highest order. I visited Woburn safari park a few years ago. Watching the tiger pace the fence Made me feel pretty bad about even visiting the place.

Pah, a honey badger would take on all 4 of those at the same time, with 1 paw tied behind its back.

I always heard Polar Bears were the only ones who would kill you for no reason / to eat though;

The old bear rhyme I heard once upon a time is what you are supposed to if you come across the various versions;

If the bear is black, fight back.
If the bear is brown, get down. (play dead/dont be agressive).
If the bear is white....good night (no chance sonny) hehe

Polar Bears are quite a but bigger than Brown Bears but probably not quite as aggressive (unless hungry). Either would be a bad news encounter.

I'd put the Hippo and saltwater Crocs in the "not to be fked with category".

Yes but they cheat/engage in un-gentlemanly conduct to win.

Throw a Wolverine in as well, maybe a Mongoose, other animals that punch above their weight.
