Given the amount of hatred on here I'm surprised Haymarket and the mods haven't perma-locked NP&E tbh.
A thinly veiled threat and a suggestion to Haymarket, all in one little sentence.
Its the kind of thing you'd post when threads like this aren't going your way.....must be frustrating.
Unfortunately for you, we are to a point, still able to express our opinions on these matters.

Any other sections of the forum you'd like closing while they're at it ?

Don't agree with mods decision? Send email to @haymarket.something.

I do like good conspiracy theories. 'Cell' that's trying to cause 'angst' amongst law-abiding, god-fearing, good-ole-folks of PH. rofl

Who needs infowars.com and chemtrails when you have quality entertainment right here. smile

Stop walking and talking like a tt?

'Direction'? Anonymous is not 'supporting' my 'twisted position' (extra lol for that one, thanks)? As I come on PH exclusively get approval, that illusive +1, from random people that I'll never meet, that actually hurts. Deeply.

(don't you worry, someone will be along quickly to give you that much desired +1)

The apparently desired + or - 1 (pmsl) would probably be desired more from someone with a current post rate of 144 per month (seriously fella where do you get the time?) as opposed to a frequent reader who rarely finds a reason to post.

Where do people get the time to get such a high post count?

As for 'where do I get the time'; it really doesn't take that long. I can understand why someone like you would think that it does.

In the UK, I got the impression Rich 85 was talking about the Austrians were playing it down.

If I'm honest I meant in general but I admit I did not word it very well, ok the mirror qualifies as mainstream media but that is the only UK based media I could find reporting the story, absolutely nothing from Sky News, BBC etc and a friend of mine who lives in Munich has said the German media were also rather quiet which is quite a surprise given what has happened there the past 2 weeks

If say 2 Austrian or Serbian criminals planned to rob and murder a Syrian refugee in a brutal manor like this I suspect all the news channels would of been reporting it in Germany and the UK for a while

I very much doubt that, obviously if rich85uk is fluent in German and avid observer of Austrian media I wholeheartedly apologise. The fact is that things happen all over the World and not all make the news in other countries, people looking for conspiracies or anything else out of that will always do so. How often does Austrian news make the news in the UK? I live in Germany and Austrian news doesn't make the news here very often and I would have thought as a nation speaking the same language and a direct neighbour it would be more likely than the UK.

Why would you expect any significant coverage of it?

It's not racially, or religiously motivated, it's not a terror attack, it's 2 criminals robbing and murdering someone. Something which, unfortunately, happens rather a lot across Europe every day of the week.

Very true but the difference here is that they are 2 refugees who since being granted asylum in 2014 have become known to the police, been linked to numerous 'property' crimes and violent assaults before finally killing someone which had been carefully planned.
It is not the first time a refugee has done this in Austria and very recently this has happened in Germany too, refugees becoming known to local police for violent crimes and then murdering someone shows a weak link in the EU's approach to the recent migration situation
Considering what has happened recently I feel this story deserved more coverage than it got
