I've been right more often than those who shout 'because Muslim' every time there's a reported incident!

It's incredibly tiresome that any kind of event like this is now automatically assumed to be the fault of a Muslim. Almost as tiresome as the claims that governments are now carrying out some kind of cover-up operation.

Youth violence, vandalism and arson in some parts of France is an everyday occurrence.

Clue, majority of the prison population is one group - but makes up less than 10% of the population.

I see nothing, other than speculative stories quoting from Live Leak. Nothing from mainstream media - I have to google in French to see any reporting from recognised and reputable sources. None of whom give any detail over the identity of the attackers.

Disenfranchised French born youths. Some will be 2nd, 3rd or more generation immigrants who are marginalised by the French government and 'native' French population.

Been going on for decades, and until the French make more of an effort to integrate immigrants (many of whom are from their former colonies), such incidents will continue.

(which is why it was absolute madness to have Russia and England playing in Lille - a city with a well known history of rioting and other anti-social activities)

I suppose it begs the question... do they want to integrate?

2nd/3rd generation... that's a lot of time to get used to your surroundings.

Any particular faith? Would it be easier if all native French converted?

According to that link, he's the son in law of the owner and is from Macedonia, but has lived in Germany for many years.

Haven't been able to find out from a quick google - does anyone know the religion breakdown of refugees/immigrants from Macedonia to Germany? Does it reflect the population there (2/3 Christian, 1/3 Muslim).

The man has been caught sleeping in the basement of the restaurant. He did not have a weapon, nor has he threatened anyone.

So the Express might have over exaggerated their report a bit? Who'd have thought it!

Remember the fuss Pegida kicked up when Kinder put non-white children on their wrappers.... Turned out they were childhood photos of the German national football team ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3608691/Ge... )

So it looks like the media are a tad over sensitive; not surprising considering the recent spike in terrorist activity seen in Europe.

Thankfully, like the 'missing' Algeria airline, a false alarm.

Anyone suggesting that I would hope that people are being killed by terrorists because I voted UKIP is either a mentally deranged bigot or a very nasty troll.
