Hi all,new to the forum here.
This is my E30 sr20det only bought it 2 months ago but I've done a few things myself including new seats and harnesses (previous ones were dire), before I had a itbd fiesta but wanted something classic, rwd especially and something different to complete in the javelin sprint series in and hopefully in some hillclimb events.

Basic spec is:
Blacktop s14 sr20
Nismo/hks 555 injectors
Horsham stage 2a exu
Gizmo boost controller
Gaz coilovers
Full weld in cage
Welded diff
Bbs rm staggered 8j front 9j rear.

And a few of my fiesta which I'm starting to break.

Awesome build.

Would love to have a closer look. A friend of mine has a E30 with a Turbo'd M50 engine.

Very cool. The SR20DET isn't the most characterful in the worl but an easy 300bhp and I bet it drives well.

It should be 300bhp supposedly with the horsham bits on but it's not running 100% at the moment so will be taking a trip down there next month hopefully and will get rid of the overfueling and flat spots and it should be up around 300.

Yeah Standard reconditioned one with 360 thrust bearing and it's got the stage 2a chip with all mods associated with that but the tubular manifold.

Nice. I had an S14a with similar and that went very well so I'm sure this is very quick!

Cars been off the road for the last two weeks due to alternator over charging. (was putting 17.5V into the battery)
so its been away for repair but it took them a while to source the parts, anyway picked it up today and fit it, then set about cleaning it ready for tomorrow.

Also picked some standard e30 wheels which i will be getting refurbed in shadow chrome and some slick tyres.

Picture of the slicks and standard wheels.
A few pictures from a local meet and ss.

Cars running awful too and miss firing at 0.8 bar boost, so far I've changed the plugs and checked the coils. Seems to be running extremely rich so I'm finishing off afr gauge install this week.

Polybushed the front lower arms last week front end feels a lot firmer now the old ones were in an awful state.

I've also cured the flat spots and miss firing and it was all down to a dirty maf! Bought some contact cleaner and sprayed the maf. Refitted and confirmed it had sorted it then raised the boost to 1.1 bar .

some updates from recently ignore the dates/days.
Went for a ride out today to make sure everything's all good for Thursday and to make the most of a nice day in England!
Also got my self a car cover purchased to stop it getting covered in crap in the barn over winter

So went to a local classic car meet last night and noticed a lot of wheel wobble and a bit of knocking.
Turned out the lower ball joint was knackered so manage to find a complete new arm on the Internet last night and picked that up this morning and fitted it. Also fitted the slicks ready for tomorrow.

Well yesterday was great fun, managed around 12 runs throughout the day.
Spun 6 times, a few down to cold tyres but mostly due to being too eager on the throttle, did turn the boost down for a two runs to 0.6 bar but soon got bored of that.
Found that I suffered from fuel starvation on the hard right handers which really hindered my time but luckily my friend has a spare alloy tank with built in swirl pot which I'm going to buy and mount in the boot.
But all in all was a good day without the miss firing I think I would have finished with the same time as in my fiesta which for my first time in the car I'm happy with. Really happy with how quickly the slicks warmed up too.

Will post some track shots when they come through.

A few track shots

Fuel tank with built in swirl pot purchased. Just need to cut the wheel well out now, make an aluminium plate and get all pipes and external pump bought.
