I need to park at Birmingham airport for 4 hours later this week.

I an see online that the cost is £18.80 (car parks 1, 2 or 3) but I can't see that they state how payment is made on the day at the car park.

Anyone know please?

Payment machines that code your ticket to allow exit.

They take credit cards and cash.

Park at the train station and take the monorail over to the airport building. About £7 for all day parking and the monorail is free IIRC.

This definitely. Also a useful place to pick up and drop off passengers too

Park at Marston Green train station it's free all day.

It's one stop to B'ham International. It roughly takes 3 mins and is about £2, trains run through every 10 mins or so.

Scratch that! Looks like they have increased in line with the NEC. bds. £7 when I went to Autosport in January.

I'll be using Resorts World from now on then.

You will be lucky to find a space at Marston Green, car parks full, the local roads are full and have recently had yellow lines added to one side, due to the attraction of free parking.

I paid online for a space in car park 2 and 3 (right by the departures terminal). When I drove out, the mag strip on the ticket must've fried as the machine promptly asked me to pay the £550 parking I owed them!

This, except its £12 for a day reduced to £8 if you enter after about 10am

yep, all day parking went up from £9 to £12 this month. Cheaper if you arrive after rush-hour though (around 10am I think, but not sure on that).

Damn it, I've been parking there for years when visiting the NEC.

And I think they've binned the cheaper parking after 10am now as well. There's no mention of it on the parking signs, I was there an hour ago. Just £12 per day. (£9 on a weekend though).

I like Birmingham Airport.

Nice and easy to get to, easy parking, walk to the terminal and, the best bit, it takes you out of Birmingham!
