It's 'started'.

After all those warnings that they would bring their st over here - poo pooed by the hand wringers - now they have.

This is the game changer, a fking church. Just like they do in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Egypt, ....every fking where.

I do wish Sky News would find a bit more footage than just the 60 second loop of the guy reversing that police car out of the way of another car and then moving it back again.

Which is exactly what the press are pushing and an immediate jump to terrorism in your mind whether this is the case or not. Both the US nightclub shooting yesterday and the Japan knife attack were initially positioned that way on here, despite proving to be wrong.

Why? These are apparently escaped criminals. There's bad stuff happening all the time all over the world, the past month is no different, just the amount of media coverage it's getting.
Wow, one person makes a claim it's escaped convicts and you jump all over that like it's a fact. Who made this claim? What is the source? Where is the evidence? Or is it more bullst from lefty aholes desperate to push an alternative narrative? There is literally nothing in any of the news reports about these being escaped convicts, there's plenty about them slitting the priests throat though.
I think I used the word "apparently", oh that's right I did and it may well proven to be wrong.

I do love that you keep pushing the "lefty aholes" line. I'm probably much more right wing than you. I just don't happen to enjoy inciting religious hatred. I can live with the "ahole" bit as its a sign of your lack of intelligence, that you've already resorted to name calling.

Really? Please list examples of lets say 3 other seperate weeks that Germany has had, that mirror the one they've just experienced.
The original post said "the whole world is on a knife edge" and I responded about the whole world. If you think the whole world is just Germany, then you might want to expand your horizons a little.

Oh, what's that, it's okay for you to jump to conclusions based on something posted on reddit?

If someone had said "apparently it's Islamic nutjobs" would you have been so forgiving? No, of course not, you'd be harping on about reserving judgement and waiting for official confirmation first.

Quick, you need to be a bit more shouty.

In reality, my post did say apparently. I didn't join in with the passive aggressive posting style so loved on here. Such as "Is it the IRA" or other rubbish. Everyone is still banging on about the Munich shooter being a terrorist, despite clear evidence to the contrary. I've already accepted I maybe wrong and if so, then great, you and your mates get to post for 90 pages about "nuking the lot of them" and other moronic outbursts.

Whoever did it with whatever motivation, that is a terrible thing to do to anyone, let alone a 92 year old priest.

It almost makes me wish there was a God to sort these things out afterwards..

Horrible crime, and these attacks lately seem to be coming almost everyday.

So pre-facing your speculation with 'apparently' makes it okay? Righto!

This sort of posting style you mean?

This thread won't last more than an hour on the front page, as the usual suspects can't have a rant about Muslims.

Don't be pedantic. This is the news thread. Germany has been in the news this week dominating "world" headlines, so if this last week is the same as any other, as you profess, it's not unreasonable to ask you to back up your claims and show us how this is a typical week for the country that been on the front pages across the world. Three examples will suffice.

In the meantime, armed Police should be a suitable , and more predictable alternative.

That is another job I would add to my list of those that may occasionally need a firearm.

I'm not being pedantic. If he'd said "Germany appears to be on a knife edge" then I might have agreed in part with what he said. Ditto France, but certainly not the whole world.

Apparently is a word that means something. You should google it.

The posting style, well I gues I'm wrong, you get your 90 pages to rant on about "nuking the lot of em" amd other slurs about the whole religion when in reality it's c100,000 nutters out of a global population of 1.6 billion.

I've never suggested 'nuking the lot of them', you're lumping me in with others on here (the irony) because I don't adhere to your viewpoint. You claim the moral high ground in these threads, banging on about waiting for confirmation but are happy to jump on alternative theories based on nothing more than rumour and think by stating 'apparently' beforehand that makes it okay. I don't see you saying "apparently they beheaded the priest" or "apparently they yelled "ISIS" or anything like that.

And there are apparently 60million people in support of ISIS with another 230million undecided as to whether they support them or not. Hardly "c100,000 nutters".
