Good to hear its been totally reliable over that many miles in more extreme/adverse conditions than you typically get in the UK

I use mine as a DD and do between 1,000 and 1,200 miles per month...clearly I'm not trying hard enough!

McL 'say' there are a number of 12C/650S's in the UK that have done over 50k miles but I've so far only come across a couple with circa 40k miles.

They certainly are very useable day-to-day and more people are putting proper miles on them which is good to see.

Now that is one happy guy; driving his 12C as a repmobile and definitely not being a garage queen. I bet he doesn't give a hoot about depreciation either. Good stuff!

At least Mclarens aren't as mileage sensitive as Ferrari's. If they were that car would be worth zipped doo dah now.
I actually expect his cost per mile is relatively low for a supercar so fair play to him for using it daily

I averaged less than 3,000 in most of my F cars and that was considered a lot by the dealers.

Really enjoying these short owner focused stories McLaren are publishing.

I really enjoyed the P1 in Tokyo film. Seems like a great guy.

Missing the fact that these are

a. Swiss miles. In other words, never driven above 45 mph (see all of the footage) so in actual fact the cars realistic mileage is 22,578 miles biggrin

b. Swiss maintenance. Aka it's Triggers broom.

Nothing to write home about really...

Did you not watch it all? He regularly drives through Germany, on the Autobahns at 300 kph on 1,000 mile trips......

Amazing car and full credit to him for using it like that every day, wish I lived in the Alps and could enjoy that scenery everyday in a wonderful car :-)

There's a good story in that somewhere. Two lawyers in different countries one has a P1 and the other has Merc diesel estate. Life is about choices and I'm guessing our friend in Tokyo is living the dream.
