53 cases in the UK and although the mosquito method isn't available as yet, it can be spread via the missionary method.

And the risk of catching it is extremely low, and even then does not require hospital treatment.

Move along....nothing to see here.

It's low - but with few or no symptoms in most cases, sexual transmission is certainly possible and pregnant women have been known to have sex.

Vaccine produced to sell to Govt?

Govt just want to spread panic so we want them to protect us?

Off to Mexico next week. Warned the Mrs no babies for the next 6 months. Costa Rica was planned for next year but she's broody as hell so can't see that happening.

Smiler.

There has been a spike in cases of GBS resulting from the Zika virus & that is a condition you really, really want to avoid. There is no vaccine against it.

Untreated can render you virtually paralysed within 72 hours & lead to fatality as your peripheral nervous system is destroyed.

Personally, I'd avoid the whole region but failing that, ensure your travel insurance has gold plated medical allowance.

I see they've gone and fked up and killed some 2.5million bees with an insecticide meant for Zika. Oops.
