I don't think I've ever fully understood the concept of being offended.

You could call my mother a , call my Mrs a , and tell me you think I'm a , and then go on to say something completely horrific about my family, followed by being vile about everyone I know using the worst language possible, and I honestly wouldn't care.

I do understand why some people would class that sort of thing as 'being offensive', but I personally wouldn't be offended by it. I could pretend to be offended, but deep down I wouldn't care at all.

But then again I do work in the motor trade. I think that has quite an effect on you biggrin
Problem is we are on a forum that bans people and censors everything we say even Shorpe.
I could say some stuff to you now to test your theory but i'd get banned.

What people don't understand about offence is for example people will pile into Corbyn and Abbott threads etc But the minute you slag off Farage or Trump they get all offended themselves. Its hypocritical.

Look how offended the 'rightie' thicko's got when Jezza Clarkson got the sack, protesting in the streets and death threats to BBC staff etc...

We're not offended by such things, we're annoyed or irritated.

Just as we are with leftie thickos and thickos who don't know how to use apostrophes.

Something is weird, I find myself in total agreement with mybrainhurts. Not sure if either of us should be offended or not...

It's who the Daily Mail preaches to though isn't it. So they have on the front page the picture of May and that Scottish bint with "CENSORED BY THE LEFT" over the legs.... NO NO NO. Daily Mail, the legs weren't the problem, the words "who won Legs-it?", like we should be comparing who has the best pair of legs FFS is why some people were 'irritated' or 'annoyed'..
I don't give a crap about May or that Scottish bint with the lesbian haircut frankly, but I am 'irritated' by the Daily Mail and it's readership.

Indeed a troll doesn't have a picture of themselves on their profile or are easily found online...unless they are thick.

A troll can say stuff and it just be to wind people up (the professionally offended, or irritated) but MrBrightSi isn't a troll he is real.

Like some of the above posters, I don't get offended by anything. However, I can and do empathise with others when they are genuinely offended, although some people are indeed far too easily offended these days!

It's called 'a bit of fun', you might need to consult a dictionary to understand what that means.

It's the people who crow on about "the professionally offended lefties" or "PC gooone maaaad!!!11" who when you turn it back on them get hysterically offended or irritated...I love it.

Pathetic isn't it, that kind of response. I'm still quite happy to let any of you guys so hung up on my appearance and supposed lack of sex get down and doggy and sort out my obvious frustrations .

Stop being so offended about it. You chose to put up a picture of yourself take it like a man. Anyway you are in the majority around here as the alt right do OK on PH as Winston Wolf can attest to.
