Reasons:

1: He has an annoying voice.
2: He is better paid than 99% of powerfully built PH directors.
3: He hangs around with all the fit popstar girls we all want to bang.
4: He doesn't bang them!
5: For PHers born in the eighties he was placed on radio one to get rid of us and thus reminded us that we were officially old.
6. He has a nice car that we are fairly sure he doesn't appreciate in an enthusiasts approved manner.

So basically totally part of the out group, welcome to the internet where we cluster and denigrate our out groups smile

What a nob!!!!!!!
You make a compelling case.

I hate him for all the reasons above and I've never even heard of him!
Same here. I'd never heard of him until I saw this thread and now I hate him with a vengeance.

He's almost like a perfect genetic experiment in how to enrage an entire demographic of your consumers. Listening to him in the morning reminds me of the episode of Father Ted when they're trapped in the cave with Graham Norton while he plays a game of "who can make the most irritating noise".

Graham Norton is another level of annoying.

Just saying.

Number 2 reminded me of this from news reports last year.

Chris Moyles shows Nick Grimshaw who has financial X Factor as Radio 1 legend reveals £1.1m profits"

The former Breakfast Show host's profit £1,100,000
His successor Grim Nickshaw's reported profit £263,792

Good luck to both of them, with their annoying voices wink
How does a person make a 'profit'?

Is it the difference between the ridiculous amount they get paid and what they don't spend of frivolous crap and bad clothes?

"NAGA MUNCHETTY LIMITED was founded on 2008-05-27 and has its registered office in London."

As per Naga Haggar and her business Naga Munchetty Ltd these folks operate through limited companies so that right-on BBC lefties who preach against tax avoidance can pay them via their Ltd Co to 'help' them avoid tax.

Obviously others will pay them that way as well sonar

The same way anyone else in the used car trade makes a profit?

But that from buying and selling things. I can see how their limited company makes a profit but not the individual themselves.

It's a manner of speaking presumably intended to convey the presence of a ltd co.

That was actually a tongue in cheek reply based on Chris Moyles supposedly being a used car dealer who moonlights as a radio / TV presenter

Not a cat in hell's chance. The investigation was a catalogue of failure. On the positive side it's been a catalyst for catching up on DJ pay.

But Moyles won't make a loss will he. Surely the money is just wages?

A GLE on its side 6 seconds into a test drive, can this be beaten?
Is this the new cow tipping? hehe
It's probably why dealers want you to buy the car before you test drive it smile

Quite a few million people; the ones that listen to his breakfast show.

Why exactly do you "hate" him?

They just hate Grimmy less than they hate Chris Evans. ..

Not listened to him on the radio so really don"t have an opinion. His listener figures aren't great.

ISWYM but not being a Radio 1 listener I only ever sampled their DJ skills when travelling in a colleague's car on the early shift and on that basis I don't harbour hate for either of them - but it's a tough call to put such successful and well-paid dreck in any meaningful 1-2 pecking order. I regarded it as a blessing if the radio was retuned to Radio 4 and that's saying something!
