As mentioned above, they are based at Heveningham Hall estate in Suffolk, nowhere near Hampshire.

Terrible accident, tragedy, loss.

No, you missed my post from earlier then, they use the farms and private roads around the Heveningham Hall estate in Suffolk. The curved stables at the end of your video is the stable block next to the hall, the farm they drive out of is New House Home Farm. You can also tell it's parkland, not fields from 2mins in.
Thank you smile

Doesn't look to be a great amount of damage to grass or field or fence for that matter, wonder if it was some fluke with a pence post entering the cabin.

Very sad tragic event.

Agreed. It is a tragic accident and I'm sure no one set out with the intention of it turning out this way. The only real reason we're discussing it here is the F50 and it seems some small minded malcontents want to have a snipe, probably out of envy.

Not quite sure why you're under fire - bottom line is someone massively fked up with a young kid in the car - so yes, very similar and some people may need to know when to call it.

Nor did McRae - he didn't take off saying "oh this is a great time to kill myself and my friends kids".

Jesus. How do you live with a thing like that?

The kid's from my home town of Winchester.

Thoughts go out to the families.

Thankfully a very rare occurrence.

Thoughts with the family at this time.

Looking at the photos of the posts that have been knocked out of the ground on the grass verge, I'm going to surmise that the car would probably have somersaulted after hitting those first, possibly landing into the fencing upside down , and must have been travelling at high speed to take out the post seen lying in the ground.

It's mostly a carbon fibre car yes? Glorified plastic, incredibly strong in some circumstances/design criteria and surprisingly weak in other ways that it's not supposed to be strong in

There was an accident in a Lotus 7-type car in Brighton. Father and son, the kid about 12 or so, both killed.

A PC who attended the scene reckoned that as the kid had died, he was glad the father had as well not for retribution but for the fact that living with that would have been too great a punishment.

Christ that's terrible.

As to your second bit my god daughter wanted a drive in mine recently . It's only just back in the road so I took her for a spin. I drove like a saint her father followed behind as we dropped her off at a party.

When she went out my mate said " you've changed" I asked why he said you were driving slow I thought you'd thrash it.

I was a bit surprised he thought id drive irresponsibly. But he's probably right a few years ago I might have done or at least a few squirts.

There but for the grace of God etc

Terrible frown

As a young lad I had plenty of random people take me out for a blast... Such a shame that what should have been an amazing experience turned so sour.

RIP young'un, and thoughts to your friend and their family.
