As I said on the other thread, it's a shame that the needs of the proper needy are being eclipsed with this farce.

The manipulation by those with ulterior political motives is disgusting & on the face of it is self-defeating.

Then again, it keeps their bent political views of "social justice" at the forefront so probably serves them best.

Whether these "children" are under 18 or not, many are clearly physically adults and, in the absence of proof, should be treated as such.

Whether or not they are adults, now they're here one would hope we treat them as humans and, mores the point, humans who've had a challenging start in life, even if it was self-inflicted through the desire for a better future.

Fair comment. I only hope they assimilate; but I guess it depends where they end up. They could turn into chavvy scrote hoodies if they end up in the wrong place....

Oh FGS, here we go again. How about we send them back?

Totally. My take is that, very possibly and for various reasons, many of them perhaps should not even be in the UK. However, that milk's been spilled already, so they're here, so let's do the right thing, but yes, transgression could and should mean ejection.

I don't recall being treated very well by their mates last night on the road to Calais (or is their behaviour acceptable because they are desperate to get into Blighty?)

That's not how we conduct ourselves though, is it? That's the point I was hoping to make.

I'm sitting at Eurotunnel (which has had a massive power outage today and we're all delayed by some hours) and have just driven through a blockade on the main route into Calais about 2 hours ago.

20 or more police vans, huge numbers of riot police and migrants placing at one point a huge tree across the road and then pelting vehicles with debris/branches and anything else they can get their hands on.

Their motive doesn't need explaining but I'm sitting here wandering at what point will a brick go through a window and kill someone, they don't give a toss about anyone but themselves.

Pretty scarey actually, you just don't know what's going to happen and it's extremely intimidating.

And these animals want to live in our society and they believe this is the way to gain access......words fail me.
FFD.

Stay safe,

Run them over if you have to.

Answer later at the port.

This is the Swedish PM at a "Child refugee home" Same problem as this Calais kids. Are we really that retarded/blinded by virtue signalling that we cannot just say "no pal you need a shave you're not 12"
They are looking more like the Syrian XV first team.

Bring on the Rugby world cup.

What our government does is not how we conduct ourselves either.

Their is very real anger and disbelief about this. I have heard people talking about it in the pub and shops. It is not a Daily Mail frenzy its real heartfelt anger. People here in Brum are worried what will happen as we have a history of being infiltrated by certain types and ignored by patronising sts
I really cant recall if it was in this thread or another that's someone said something like When ? as in when will these politicos realise that this situation is dangerous will they only do so when one of them - politicos is killed or executed on videotape.
After just watching the odious little st that is Tim Fearon avoiding a direct question and essentially lecturing us that we should not do tests on these "children" and that we cannot compare our young with these Calais people because of their experiences I juts totally despair.
So if we are to have a politico executed in barbaric fashion I personally hope it is someone like Tim Fearon as he plainly knows better than anyone else
