Reading this thread re-assures me that I made the right decision to leave the UK...
Rarely have I read so much ill- informed, paranoid drivel.
Guess I better duck for the oncoming onslaught of insults now...
You mean like the rape at knifepoint, or the eye witness seeing cars being stoned.Rarely have I read so much ill- informed, paranoid drivel.
Guess I better duck for the oncoming onslaught of insults now...
All paranoid drivel?

The Brits are the laughing stock of the world following the brexit decision, driven by the same kind of "expert thinking" as in this thread, so maybe you should reflect a little on who the real idiots are here.
Democracy is a bit of a bugger isn't it. I suspect Canada is rather laughing at how a few Waloons are making the EU the titter focus at the moment, capturing the real idiot crown. This one always gives me amusement:

This lads a hero to some of the drivers I work with, has circulated through work emails several times. Most of the lads I work with are immigrants themselves too from eastern Europe.

Not the impression I get from various foreign forums. The general feeling is we did good by standing up for our country. It's only quite frankly pathetic bitter remainers kicking out cheap jibes that say things like that.

More buses full of blurred out Calais 11-17 yr olds on the BBC 10o/c news just now
Meanwhile film of their freindly relatives left behind petrol bombing the Gendarmes outside the Jungle.
And they have a big curtain up around Croydon reception centre now, so as to protect them...........(the useless s making these fking wk assessments of age, I mean). Meanwhile film of their freindly relatives left behind petrol bombing the Gendarmes outside the Jungle.

I can only asssume you are trying to be funny, or have a fairly selective choice of fora....
I live on the continent and have yet to meet a single person who thinks the UK made a sensible decision.

It may have been already mentioned, but I believe this lot are the main lobbyists/do-gooders/supporters of the 'children': http://safepassage.org.uk/They have some interesting 'partners' including Comic Relief. Now, I can understand Lenny Henry's original well meaning plan to help starving people in Africa, but what on earth has this got to do with the jungle??
At the risk of sounding like an arrogant, pompous tt, I am VERY cautious & selective as to which chairty I donate to....
I just love (not) the way the authorities (government) are dealing with this issue and the way they seem to regard the plebs (how some of them see us)
First up the issue has aroused real and genuine anger amongst people. The papers are reflecting this as are some MP's by their comments.
So what do the authorities do to counter this.
They state that tests cannot be done to determine age even though its blatantly obvious that they can be done. The reasons given for not doing tests are trivial.
They then put barricades up so we can no longer see who is coming in.
Now I don't wish to appear simplistic but it doesn't arouse great respect or confidence for the authorities running this. You could also feel that after a referendum that didn't go the way the authorities may have hoped and a reasonable surprise in a recent general election that just perhaps authorities might feel that the plebs should be treated with a little more respect

R 4 was at it again yesterday calling them children any idiot can clearly see they are not. So why are the usual suspects claiming they are. Yeah I expect it from the media but individual sjw warriors insisting they are children as if just saying it makes it so. Hmm make it so reminds me of something
How many children
They are all children
How many children
They are all children

There is more than one continent I live on the continent and have yet to meet a single person who thinks the UK made a sensible decision.
There are also many countries within the European continent. You can assume all you want I assume by your first comment you are just making it up to suit your pov.

Well, for balance, I work for a company based on the 'continent' - many (most) of my colleagues are European. I'm yet to meet a single one that thinks we made the wrong decision. Many are a little bit envious.I live on the continent and have yet to meet a single person who thinks the UK made a sensible decision.
