What's PH view of this?
Annoying sure seeing him take up large parts of the road - but he does have a point.
However she kind of goes fking nuts and starts talking like boyz down the "endz" with gun stuff. I mean seriously WTF is wrong with people.

She's clearly a maniac and he, an annoying bloke trying to get some go-pro footage for his social media account. He goaded her; why did he stop right in front of her, and why, after he finished trying to 'patiently explain' things to her, he continued in front of her, heaven only knows. Why he didn't simply park up in the huge space alongside and let the deranged woman pass instead of provoking her, is anyone's guess. I'm not justifying her driving or response, but he did at least, confirm my suspicion of him.
Well according to the OP and other regular cycle-haters on this thread...

...it's his fault for not getting out of her way immediately.
Holding her up like that is absolutely unacceptable even for a moment.

Well even if he's got not bicycle maintenance skills, a precious more mechanical sympathy (that bike sounded a wreck) there is never an excuse for a motorist to ram a cyclist. Ever.
Moreover, whilst I do agree he might have moved over, where sensible, there is a grave danger to cyclists when passing parked cars. Idiots (and in the interest of full disclosure, I must own up to once having been such) open their car doors without spotting cyclists in their blind spot.

A cyclist where I used to live made a fake camera for his cycling. It was fixed to his helmet, a big black tube with yellow wires running down to, presumably, fake batteries in a back pocket.
I was chatting to him at lights and asked if it wasn't a bit heavy. He said that it was fake, just a bit of plastic and wires. He reckoned, like Vine, that it was much more of a safety feature than a cycling helmet. If someone had done something dangerous he would point to it.
I did much of my cycling off-road, but the little bit I did in Lewes and Brighton made me sympathise with the chap.
Even when I was cycling, and four stone lighter than I am now, I was a big bloke and no one got out of their car at me. I've seen it with others and have pulled out my warrant car and told the car driver to get back in their car a number and wait for me a number of times. None of the cyclists have ever agreed to report any careless driver, all saying something similar to: 'What's the point, there's hundreds of them out there.' My job would not prosecute on the say so of an off-duty officer without an independent victim/witness.

Here he is doing treble the speed limit in Hyde Park.
