I can't say I have ever seen anyone punch a baby in a silly comedy moment, imaginative defence for his barrister to use I suppose.
A different sense of humour is all that is in play here. Two links, two seconds to find, probably hundreds more..

Yeah I'm sure the "I saw it on South Park so thought I could do it in real life" defence works well in court.
Maybe. A silly joke that went wrong may also suffice. The guy is either a baby puncher, or tried to act the fool for a giggle.
There are no other options.
Carry on trying to make this out to be something it isn't, though. You could fill page after page with your witty retorts and there will still only be those two options.
I have no idea why that is so hard to grasp. Perhaps people are just bored?

Of course the reason that that those clips are funny, the reason you are missing Is because you shouldn't punch babies. That's why it's funny. It's not an instruction manual and not an excuse to do,it.

Might be worth a read for all those who can't have a civil conversation on these forums any longer.
It may actually be a 'condition'..

Have been called far worse than a dick. I think we even had some "your Mum" jokes, once.
I left all that playground stuff in the playground, but it does plague these forums.
Carry on, though. It's always entertaining to see what people can come up with.

He didn't think he was punching a baby. Why would he want to punch a baby?! He has a different sense of humour to you and that's the part you are missing.Zod said:

Being a psychopath is a "condition" but acting on its urges is not acceptable to society and gets punished. It may actually be a 'condition'..

What this bloke did is not acceptable to society, really if you can't get that the your contributions to this thread are repetitive and worthless.

You can kill someone by mistake and still go to prison, eg death by dangerous driving. I suspect most dangerous drivers don't set out to kill people, but they are still held responsible if they do. The fact its a mistake is not a full defence. The act of punching what he thought was a doll was still and act of aggression and is still assault. IMO he is lucky he didn't kill the baby
Nobody on this forum is actually waiting for the facts. They think they know everything there is to known when empirically its obvious to anyone with even half a care that they don't.
Furthermore any posts suggesting we should wait and watch gets the typical 'burn with fire' of the tiny mind.
Answer the following questions
!) Has the baby sustained any damage
2) What damage do you think a baby sustains from an adult male punch to the head.
If you answer is I don't know/none, and bloody catastrophic cerebral haemorrhage easily seen on an MRI of the head respectively then you may want to consider what your definition of a punch is and what the daily mail defined as a punch.
Is this gut a tit, yes. Does he deserve to be locked up and key thrown away. I don't know and neither do you so why are you so certain?

Ian Brady and Peter Sutcliffe, to name a couple of people, also had "conditions". It may actually be a 'condition'..
