Whatever the issue is - serious or otherwise I doubt if we'll actually find out what the truth is.
Its hardly a new thing is it? Many didn't know Roosevelt was in a wheelchair, very few knew that Kennedy had back issues, the MSM took John McCain apart when he was running on the basis of his health and age.
If she does (or is forced to quit the race) it seems the DNC hold a special meeting and vote on a replacement. Its never happened yet...

Obviously a whole load of conditions could cause double vision, which has led to speculation of her health for some time as I understand it.

With the power of her lenses it would be relatively easy to incorporate lower amounts of prism into her spectacles (or even leave her in gas permeable contacts which have some straightening effect).
Common causes for diplopia
thyroid dysfunction
diabetes
myasthenia gravis
multiple sclerosis
head injury
brain tumour/ocular cancer
stroke/TIA.
Some news on BBC now not showing her as ill but mentioning it
She is the only one wearing sunglasses, appears to have no power in lenses, so is it just to hide the squint with her contacts in.

Personally I blame Bill any real husband would put his wife's health first and foremost it's not like they need the money as a family unit...

Perhaps so. She's never had any other ambition than to be president, for no other reason than that. To be president. Being incapable of a worthwhile presidency may not be that important to her as long as she's in the history books.
