np, I'm sure there are heaps of other streams but this one has no commentary, which for US TV can only be a plus wink

2am.
I am over in DC at the moment and catching a lot of the debate. There is a third candidate however most of the people I have spoken with think that because of the Electoral College system of voting over here, that they have no chance.
No one seems to be passionate about either candidate, but are making their choice either because 'they are a Democrat / Republican' or more commonly from a 'there is no way I could vote for the other one'.

People seem acutely aware of the whole "is this the best we could do out of 350 million people" position.

Well, one thing is certain, when this is all over, they're going to have an Amerigoon in charge.

They'll be electing a peanut farmer next.

Oh, wait...

So she's had health problems for years, yeah? And it's serious?

Her party chose her over all other candidates in spite of this, so that when she dies soon, they can hang on for another few months while they pick another candidate, instead of just picking said candidate in the first place?

Think about how daft that sounds.
*dons tin foil hat* I suspect that if she is really ill the Dems are hoping she'll survive till she gets elected. Out of the current crop they only really have Sanders who would beat Trump, and they don't want Sanders. So if she stepped down now they'd go for Kaine and he'd go nowhere against Trump, they have backed themselves into a corner.

I can't help feeling that during the primaries the Democrats were more worried about Sanders getting in than a Republican, and now the Democrats and the Republicans are more worried about Trump getting in than anybody else.

Do you get that feeling because DNC documents leaked and proved they were anything but impartial? They did everything they could to rig the nomination in Clinton's favour.

A handful of DNC staff resigned because of the scandal. The head of the DNC (Debbie Wasserman-Schultz) also resigned (and immediately got a cushy job with the Clinton campaign).

Yup. After she lost to Obama she then stacked the deck in her favour so she wouldn't lose again. Debbie was her former campaign manager, then given the lead of the DNC, the former head of the DNC, was Tim Kaine, who stood aside with the promise of becoming VP later.

I didn't watch, but it appears she survived last night's debate without incident.

I'd previously wondered if there was something serious going on, based on all the little snippets and video clips, but I'm happy to have been wrong.

Any of the "She's at Death's door" posters have any thoughts on it?

Sorry, someone is on the same stage as Trump and your commenting on their appearance.....

Seriously she's a sixty eight year old woman what do you expect her to look like, all people on TV are plastered with make-up otherwise you look odd.

Indeed this, shame people get so hung up on a powerful females looks above everything else, I appreciate Trump gets stick over his hair, but thats it, Hillary gets it from all angles.

Im not a big fan of hers at all, but I cant understand the amount of hatred and snide comments she gets , some forums and News outlet comments have lots of people wishing she died of her recent health issues!

Never really understand how someone can attract so much hatred for a person, when most of the conspiracy theorys and opinion on her are not proven and are more hearsay
