Apart from he didn't actually do anything dodgy business-wise (in the published interview) and was very explicit that he would have to run any business opportunities past the FA first.

He was sacked for taking the mickey out of Hodgson's inability to pronounce the letter R and also having a (quite correct) pop at the way Neville argued with Hodgson over a substitution.

Chalk this one up the easily offended

There are people out there earning a basic wage giving up their free time at weekends to engage in sports such as football with kids at the weekend. There are people on not very much playing in lower league sides and you get this greedy well paid bd who it seems wants more and more

Each to their own, I agree that he's quite probably corrupt, but this sting hasn't proven that yet.

I don't think the world really cares enough about England to make us a laughing stock.

I don't like this method of catching people out it stinks but not as much as wealthy rich men in positions of some responsibility acting like pigs. I suspect the time yesterday was spent on agreeing a compensation package for him and his staff.
