Richard Burbridge Stairs
Discussion
They have been the mainstream option for many years - price varies depending where you buy.
Obviously there are alternatives - some higher, some lower priced.
EDIT - I have assumed you are talking about stair parts rather than building a completely new set of stairs.

Completely off topic.... Mate of mine plans the production
Small world! I live opposite the ownerstirling37 said:
i will need to check these out, i tried neville johnson and they wanted 12k to replaced posts, baulstrade and handrail and clad the white wood with oak he reduced it to 10k when i rolled my eyes. stairbox comes out about 2k but i have to fit it myself.
Its ridiculous what these big companies try and charge, boils my piss. You could rip it out completely and fit a new solid oak staircase for less than half that. Far better get Burbidge/Stair box components and pay a joiner to fit, it's only a few days work.Has anyone used J&J near St Albans ? http://www.jandjstairparts.com

yeah i know the salesguy spent ages here, then looked me in the eye and said 12k, said what did i think of the price, i said erm no way did i think it would be that much. He said we are a premium company!! lol i said i dont have that.we have measure up today and with stairbox we can bring everything to just over 2k thats over ordering the parts for bad cuts etc. we are going to give it a go ourselves, she another poster on here with some before and after pics and spurred me on,
