He got to say a few words on Radio four can't remember what it was something about economy shift to low tax being a bad idea..... it wasn't very memorable - more mumble
Oh well, it wasn't a very important speech. He really isn't worth any more IMO

I can't believe the useless sack of ste deserves a salary of £140K - in fact if he was so principled as he claims he should hand back £130K and the balance should cover his bus fare to and from HOC and beans on toast for the year....
He really isn't worth any more IMO
Oh, he's principled; just not the principles people wished he had. I still have a feeling he put a tick in the box marked "leave". He really isn't worth any more IMO

I thought Corbyn would have been first in line to crticise today, but I think even if he had took a st on the lawn he would be upstaged by a certain Tim Farron today, just wow. He made a right tit of himself with the garbage he was spouting.
Totally agree. What a weasely little st that man is - claiming that Theresa May is being undemocratic etc etc. Total fking idiot. And Clegg. He's gone RIGHT down in my estimation, and he wasn't very high in the first place.

Kermit, have you travelled anywhere outside the privileged, wealthy Western world? You're worried about a marginal shift in pension entitlements. The mere fact the social compact contemplates a universal pension forever is an astounding economic achievement. Even if this pension will reduce over time, it's simply not going to lead to the situation for 70% of humanity today, which is work, rely on family or die.
Yes, this country needs to agree what we want to spend our tax revenue on. Yes, the balance will shift. But in my lifetime, or that of my daughter, the country will not slip out of Developed World rankings into Emerging Market.
Unless of course an extreme left wing Labour government is allowed to ride roughshod over economic prudence. Wel ome back IMF rescue plans, reduced lifespans, shorter working lives, less income, owning fewer "things".
The mere fact that our social compact contemplates a universal pension forever would be an astounding economic achievement if it was actually properly funded. As it is, what's so astounding about building up a massive Ponzi scheme for our children and grandchildren to try and cope with?Yes, this country needs to agree what we want to spend our tax revenue on. I think, though, that you've been completely missing my point. If Corbyn ever actually won an election, that would indeed be an utter disaster, but Corbyn's current existence as leader of the opposition should be enough to allow for the shift towards the Right, the reduction in the size of the State and the gradual rebalancing of the books that this country so desperately needs.
Replace Corbyn with a new Blair, on the other hand, and we'll be back in the race to bankruptcy that a permanent centre left government will serve up.

I'm just glad that Techiedave seems not to have noticed that someone used the word "crack"and posted a picture of DA in the same post.
I saw it last night and barely slept for worrying what ramifications that may have once his imagination got going.
So far I think we got away with it.
I was thinking more of the words Diane and Bush (and that's not George W). I saw it last night and barely slept for worrying what ramifications that may have once his imagination got going.

Fair to say earlier on it was a full on. Strong and well angled. Think somewhere between D and E and your there.

I also noticed that the op of the new D and J pic had paused it on his screen - I do that too
