it's terrifying to think he's a flunked Brexit negotiation and messy recession away from number 10. I'm not sure the former is worth risking the latter.
It's not even Corbyn that scares me, it's his entourage. John McDonnell and Diane Abbott absolutely horrify me.
I gather McDonnell is fairly widely despised within Labour, and I can't imagine Dianne is flavour of the month amongst moderates either. I've read McDonnell is pushing that hectoring bint from QT last week as his proxy.

Either way, Brexit will have to spectacularly wrong, or the SNP will have to have a complete meltdown for them to have any chance of getting in. I'm pretty sure we're safe for a while yet.

This is a genuine concern of mine, too.

It's not even Corbyn that scares me, it's his entourage. John McDonnell and Diane Abbott absolutely horrify me. I look back at the glorious history of this mighty country then look at the Front Bench of the current opposition and think *Has it really come to this?*
^^^^^^^^^^ This^^^^^^^^^^

I've lived through enough governments and cabinet reshuffles where some you think .... WTF ... really only to look back later that ... Yea maybe he/she had a good innins at the bat

But really
McDonnall - Chancellor
Thornburry - Foreign Secretary
Abbottamus - Home Secretary
Rayner - Education rofl
Ashworth - Health .... OMG School, Uni, Labour political worker ,,, No experience
Griffith - Defence ..... Facepalm Councillor to MP to expenses scandal
And lastly in a world where globalisation is resulting in the reduction of human resource .. is Long-Bailey with her Politics and Sociology degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, really capable of Secretary of State for Business,

I'm sure many despise the current Tory government but really really this lot???

With the current Labour front benchers, and the sort of manifesto Corbyn will produce, even a catastrophic negotiation and recession would not put this Labour party into power. More likely is a Labour meltdown as has happened in Scotland.

Just had a look at Jazza's Twitter feed, he's being flayed alive by hundreds of spittle-flecked foaming Remain types. Vicious doesn't even begin to cover it.

The interesting thing is the Momentum mob aren't piling in to defend him. In my view the poor old fool's goose is cooked big time. He'll be gone by spring.
No no no there is not a chance that it will happen - I have it on good authority

He's a leader with balls. Just what this party needs.

Do Labour voters actually believe that JC can lead? And lead them to a better future?
Yes, definitely.

Labour have won every by-election while Corbyn has been leader and increased their vote share in 75% of them. They fared better in the local elections than many were predicting. In May Labour were neck and neck with the Tories in the polls.

This leadership challenge has no doubt hurt the party's ratings but once it is over I fully expect the polls to narrow a great deal more.

Then roll on 2020. The way Theresa May is going, the next election will be a stroll in the park for Labour.

Labour will be in government in 2020.

Won all 4 by elections under Corbyn. Increasing vote share in 75% of them. Labour are serious. They will win in 2020.
JawKnee is right royally taking the piss, I reckon.

JawKnee is Nigel Farage, and I claim my Mars Bar...rofl

The probability might be small, I'd just be a whole lot more comfortable if it was zero.

I honestly don't think he is - that's why many times I have said we should keep him when he's been accused of being a troll - this forum need balance to counter the "just right of Attila the Hun" concensus

I was however tempted to edit one of them

Stuck between a rock and a hard place. On the one side he's tacitly admitted he has no control over the party and they can ride roughshod over him. On the other he's probably run out of potential candidates for shadow roles and would be back round to offering the ones he'd previously fired roles again... wink

Corbyn is disliked across the board.

Rumour has it only people living in Jawknee's house left. I just hope he gets his shot at the 2020 victory.

I've just posted a comment on the DM website noting that the furious red-arrowing of negative comments about Corbyn that used to occur on there seems to have ceased.

There used to be a consistent number of red arrows for each negative comment, e.g. every one would have about 375, like the same people were just going down the whole list.

This seems to have stopped, almost like his social media army have deserted their duties...

Seems some are waiting for the 2 by-election results in a couple of weeks before deciding what to do. If one goes Tory and the other Ukip, they have to at least try another leadership bid, even if the same people who elected him last time we no doubt stick with him.

jawknee
Noun. Someone who uses large fonts, hackneyed arguments, bad logic, and an air of superiority to make up for his total lack of friends. Furthermore, this type of person is only enjoyed by those who have an IQ lower than his or her own. Consequently, the only company that a "jawknee" usually has is a single cancerous ferret.
So and so proved themselves to be an incontrovertible jawknee with an incredible display of incoherent, anal retentive intellectual debauchery that transcended anything previously witnessed in the history of mankind.
