List and pics!

And how would you invest? Live off the interest or something else?

I'm splitting the £12M between my brother, sister and mum and dad. The rest is being invested and I'm living off the income.

I'm packing up work, so will loose the house, but should have enough to buy my own. The Jazz and the CBR will stay, but I'm taking a trip to my local Honda emporium to have a look at touring machinery suitable for a pillion.

I will also be required by law to buy a supercharged Jag, certainly the most powerful petrol model they do in the UK. Not sure to go XF estate, is that the Sportbrake (?) or standard wheel base XJ.

I'm going to do my Class 1 for the hell of it and have a go at a PPL. Then I want to sail across the Atlantic when it is at full throttle on a container ship.

Both of my bikes will undertake at least one European trip, one with my brother and one with my girlfriend, probably head out in my Jag too.

I've become very atatched to my company vehicle and will put a bid on it. I have no use for it, but want it.

If I get my share of the jackpot, I'd purchase a house currently for sale about 5 miles away, a Volvo V60 Polestar and pay off the debt my partner and I have. I'd then put aside a bit for a wedding.

With what's remaining - probably £200k - I'd help family members, including giving my brother £100k to help with the deposit for a place in London.

If I won £112m, I'd spin round in circles, probably suffer a cardiac arrest and likely die.

I'd honestly invest the 100 million to live off and spent the £12m outright on a house and a few cars.

Then i'd lie to my whole family and tell them i'd been made CEO of the company I work at and throw a huge promotion party.

Honestly it's all on finance I can afford it with my new job!

I'd end up just leasing super cars every year, couldn't keep the same one if I was that minted.

Then an 8c Comp.

Then a vintage 6c.

Then a 4c.

Then a TZ2.

Then a Disco Volante.

oh blimey where to start, already informed the mrs earlier I would be getting a Mclaren675lt, the one for sale in evo this month. phwoar.

If I really won though, I think a V12 Zagato would still be at the top for me.

but after that, the garage would need filling up with some race metal.

Pilbeam Judd 2003 MP91 - for competition use of some sort. That and scaring myself silly

Ferrari f430 challenge - after having driven one, it would make a fine car to frequent at the gentleman trackdays like a sir. (if it passed the noise regs)

Renault RS-01 - Great looking machine and a series to go drive in too.

I'd keep my current mini gp and probably get a bmw I3 for getting round town. That would work for now, sell any of the race cars if I fancied a change.

Sod all.

£12m to family n stuff, £100m in the bank. Even at 2% interest that's £2m/yr, or £5500/day, you'd struggle to spend that. I'd travel around the world renting everything. Even if you did somehow manage to spend £5500 every single day you'd still wouldn't lose money.

stick it in the bank and not tell a bloody soul, not even the mrs.

make the tough decision to quit work and "start my own business up", where I'd be very very busy....

spending most working days in an industrial unit building;
kit car*
off roader*

on the side I'd start to invest in some property

to outsiders I'd just become extremely successful over the course of a few years doing *insert generic manual labour job here* then I'd publicly start to invest in property and then "employ" a few mates at their current pay rates + a decent payrise to join me on a round the world tour, basically top gear challenges but without the camera crews! "living off the investments" (which just happen to be doing very well!!)

  • any posts in the kit car section in a few months time about stripping a bugatti veyron and building an atom chassis around it's engine are purely coincidental and do not mean I won the Euro's! whistle

Is that what you're telling them, then pocketing the other £100m?
