2008 BMW 530D -Flickering lights

Hi, have a problem with rear lights flickering on my 2008 LCI 530D estate. When i press the brake pedal the fronts flicker as well. Im hopeless at anything electrical so any pointers please?

Maybe a broken wire in the tailgate loom.

Check the rear bulb holders, they can burn out the earth connection in the plug on the lci 5 series

Yep, sounds like an earthing problem.
