I disagree, she is doing a great job - taking one for the team, laying back and thinking of England. What the Tories will do for a trade deal, eh! hehe

Where's the lefty outrage about her visit to one of the the most horrific dictators around today. Signing arms deals with Erdogan in Turkey. Clearly, no matter how dirty the money, she's happy to do business.

It would be odd for a country in NATO not to agree to supply armaments to a fellow NATO member state.

You can have a more moral position on this subject when Turkey leaves NATO.

Is it just me or does Trump seem to favour ridiculously long ties?

It's a flaw in the morphing process, the long lizard tongue is cleverly disguised as a tie

Tim Farron stuck to his muddled principles by saying that doing a deal with Turkey shows the sort of grubby compromises we will need to make outside the Single Market. Without apparently realising that Turkey is in a customs union with his beloved EU.

May's visit was a complete flop in the US. Swung through Boston this week and nobody was talking about it at all. Barely mentioned at all on ABC News or any of the major newspapers. Everyone is far more interested in the Mexican wall and President.

Yes, it has been well noted in leftwing US social media. Seems to be an attempt to enhance his tallness, slim his big gut, and distract from his hair.

There was wall to wall coverage of May's visit on Sky News on Friday but barely a mention on Fox News. That tells you all you need to know about this "special" relationship.

She's now in Turkey making a fool of herself jumping from one dictator to the next. Probably thinks it raises her hand in EU negotiations but unfortunately I think it will have the opposite effect.

Funny, I was watching fox and it was all over it, they even showed her speaking to the GOP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS40I-82daE (sounded more like a conservative party conference with all the cheering)

The press conference was covered live on Fox and extensively during the day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hILiTZZjZqI

I thought Boris & co used Turkey potentially joining the EU as a reason for us to get out. Which upset Turkey at the time. It was mentioned a lot at those idiotic pre-vote lie fests, which were very weird in hindsight.
6 months on, Turkey further from joining the EU than ever.
Our leader is there, highlighting our historic ties, sniffing for a deal with them if we do indeed leave.
It's a funny old world...

I'm glad the deal with Turkey was done; jobs for our people made more secure etc. We can wag our moralistic finger later if we want.

Upset his Turkish relatives as well. As prior to the Brexit vote he was very, very pro Turkey joining.
