Not in a million years? Labour were leading in the polls earlier this year with Corbyn and Mcdonnell so I don't think it's as far fetched as you suggest. But yes, we'll see what happens in 2020.
Really?

Are all the Kippers returning to the Tory Party going to stand for Theresa May fiddling immigration statistics? She has a track record for missing targets when home secretary so I'm surprised they are so confident with her n charge.
She won't have to fiddle them.

There will be a dramatic fall in March 2019.

She is over in Brussels tonight explaining that we are going for a hard Brexit.

Good woman.

She might end up being better for the UK than Margaret was.

These two together are hilarious.
I am sure it is hilarious to you, doesn't make it less true. If someone is actually knowledgeable in their field, but that view doesn't agree with the groupthink on here among some posters then it's probably not worth your time trying to contribute to the debate given the amount of abuse they will receive. As you demonstrate.

Phew thank god for that........see you back here in 2020..in the meantime I wish you well wherever you end up going byebye
UK politics is basically a two party system, there are plenty of hard core, dyed in the wool Labour Party supporters who would vote for a tub of lard if it had a red rosette, it only takes a major fk up by the Conservatives (Brexit maybe) and Labour will be back in the running regarding of how useless Corbyn may be. You can't write them off.

Aside from the cheP shot that Labout have already got a major fk up in Corbyn....

I wonder if the UK really votes for ideology anymore? I think people want managerial competence, broad brush social justice (or at least the appearance of). fundamental economic security and not too much obvious troughing or scandal.

Not hard is it.

Good looking, polished communicator at the front and nothing to frighten the horses behind.

Corbyn fails on all of these, he can never win an election in this country.

Bingo. I agree with this. Labour can beat the Tories, but the only way they'd do so with Corbyn at the helm would be if Brexit induces some sort of nuclear winter economically. And, personally, I really don't think that'll happen.

I keep this picture in a frame on the bedside table.

Isn't it fantastic?

I cannot understand why Labour insist on having male leaders. Even Diane Abbott would be better than Corbyn. Michael Foot was better than Corbyn. Neil Kinnock was much better.

I must admit that I have really enjoyed the last couple of years in british politics.

It's a two horse race (in England at least), Conservative or Labour, if the Conservatives slip up Labour will win. Even at the height of their popularity UKIP got just one MP whereas two loons like Corbyn and Abbot won't stop Labour winning hundreds of seats.

It would take much more than a 'slip up'.

Him, and labour are toast for a good few years.

Labour will have to realise they have lost their Party to the far left and if they don't get on board they will be deselected at some point so lots more fun to come from Corbyn and his mob of merry men and women

This is entirely right in my opinion, the more Labour lurch to the left, the more they will be left in the lurch.
Thankfully, the British public has no stomach for that kind of crap.

Well, to be fair, David has a good point. I've been the victim of xenophobia on these very pages. I was called a "plastic Paddy". It is at least 25 years since anybody has suggested that I was thick because I am Irish.

Was this insult delivered by a xenophobic, racist Leaver?

No of course not. It was delivered by a truely racist Remoaner.

Utter hypocrites.
