She might be correct about the numbers but it's ridiculous to suggest this is some kind of cover up.

They are off-the-record numbers I have been given from policemen and from firemen.

They had someone else on Victoria Derbyshire this morning, Saskilla, a grime artist who played a benefit gig last night. he said pretty much the same thing, with VD having to curtail him for exactly the same reasons. And it was all Boris Johnson's fault, according to what I made out of him shouting, that was the loudest I could hear over the noise in the staff canteen. Its right to be angry as he is, along with 200 other emotions he and everyone else will be feeling all at the same time, and in the moment, when its all so raw, but for the people on facebook and elsewhere, to take that as being "the answer" is the problem.
The media has made it quite clear that there is a specific number of confirmed dead and the actual number of those who have died will be much higher. It's never engaged in a cover up and there can be no suggestion made in the media that could be taken as official that the number is 150 or 200 or more.
It's a mess and no one has pretended otherwise.
There will be an official record of who lives in the flats. Some may have been out at the time of the fire. Some may be unconscious in hospitals and as yet not identified. There may have been visitors in the flats. As many of the residents were immigrants and refugees it's possible they had a few extra unofficial tenants living with them who aren't recorded anywhere and may have been burned to ashes without anyone knowing anything about them.
Lily Allen is just one of those Champagne Socialist type mini celebrities who want to jump on every moral outrage bandwagon they can to keep their profiles up and pretend to be more virtuous than the next person.
