You've got yourself confused. The border agreement with France works very much in our favour.

If Le Touquet is torn up, it means the British won't be making border checks for immigration on french soil. We'd then have to do it in Dover meaning the immigrants will find it a lot easier to cross the channel and end up camped in Dover.

Easier how? Have they got money to spunk on ferry / eurostar tickets? And when it gets to "passport please" and they fail to provide one why wouldn't we just send them straight back?

If I rock up at JFK airport and I'm suddenly unable to produce my passport, what happens? Pretty sure I wouldn't be let free to go and establish my own camp.
