We are now taking in unaccompanied kids from Europe even if they don't have family ties to the UK - we have been compelled to do this by the House of Lords.

Lord Dubs said he welcomed government support for refugees, but added: "When all is said and done, the government will still leave thousands of children in Europe.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36146116
"Children who are vulnerable, children who are in an unhappy situation, children who are in danger possibly even to their lives and certainly to their wellbeing."
No, the government will leave millions of children in Europe! Does he think no children are safe in any other European country?
Imagine if we only consider them if they apply from their home countries or, if they are displaced by war, from their nearest neighboring country not at war. The market for the people smugglers is gone, no more drowned kids in the Med, etc.

Pray tell us, if the border was moved to the UK, why/how would that result in a "Jungle"?
If Le Touquet is torn up, it means the British won't be making border checks for immigration on french soil. We'd then have to do it in Dover meaning the immigrants will find it a lot easier to cross the channel and end up camped in Dover.Hurray for Brexit!
Once in the UK they won't be setting up any camps, they're not boy scouts.

Looks like Soros has the civil service firmly in hand...or is the Cs attempting to destabilise the government??

If they've managed to find the money to pay people smugglers to get them into Europe and manage to find enough money to feed and clothe themselves, I'm sure they can come up with enough money to buy a ferry ticket and someone to buy it for them. Of all the problems they face i don't think getting hold of a ferry ticket ranks particularly highly.
Maybe, maybe not.If the chance of getting through is low enough they may well not be able to find enough money to keep buying tickets. If the chance of getting through is high enough a £2000 fine for the carrier should encourage them to improve procedures.

The root cause is France are failing with immigration controls. .
Not if you fly here. The immigrants all know through twitter etc that the best way to come is by train from Italy and get off at Cannes or Antibes where you will NEVER see any police. Was there last week and you see them coming out the station at Antibes at night.Le TVR said:

Well there are loads of them at Ventimiglia border where the French will not allow them into France. Has been like this all summer.
How can you tell?I've had a soft spot for Ventimiglia since I was 10 owing to family holidays near there and my parents' bizarre patronisation of markets! But it always looked to me like a refugee camp even when I was 10

Im guessing likely a severe lack of lefty hand wringing do gooders over there, and the fact locals are likely to chuck them in the drink. Ive worked with a couple of guys from Gib and sound as they are, you wouldnt want to mess with them. The unanswered question of the lefty handwringers is "what is wrong with France, Germany, Austria, Italy and so on? The so-called refugees are already in the safety of the west, why make yourself less comfortable by camping out in a corner of it just to get to an island? The lefty handwringers talk about the so-called refugees as if they are still in mortal danger.
