British Transport Police tweeted: "Item found at #Moorgate station has been looked at by officers and is not suspicious. Thank you to everyone for their patience"
Every one is going to be twitchy about every bit of lost property for a bit, and every alert is going to make the press until a better news story comes along

Linked to device found in Devon. It's "not viable" though.

Forgive me for finding it very hard to believe this one!
"The teenager linked to the London Underground bomb plot was a poker-loving student who was only ever seen with his mother, The Telegraph can disclose.
Damon Smith, 19, had moved from Devon to the capital over the summer to attend university. He was joined there by his mother, Antonitza, who feared he would struggle to cope on his own, neighbours claim."

A student who made a bomb filled with ball bearings and left it on a Tube train has been jailed for 15 years.
Damon Smith put his homemade device into a rucksack and left it on a Jubilee Line train in October 2016.
The 20 year old claimed it was a prank but was found guilty of possession of an explosive substance with intent.

Weird that this thread isn't longer. I wonder why that could be?
Why isn't his community addressing these issues? Where are the marches saying not in my name?

What race, religion or ideology etc has he claimed to have done this in the name of?
As in the vast majority of cases, Allah and Islam are very much the catalyst behind his actions.https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/may/26/de...
"Police also found shredded paper with bombmaking instructions on them and a shopping list for “pressure cooker bomb materials” on an iPad he used. The note included a reminder to “keep this a secret between me and Allah #InspireTheBelievers”."
An able student, Smith also displayed a persistent fascination with Islamic terrorism and mass murders.
Friends were shown violent propaganda by so-called Islamic State and Smith created YouTube videos of himself using computer games to re-enact infamous real-life mass killings.
In a shopping list of the components for his bomb, he had written: "And keep this a secret between me and Allah #InspireTheBelievers."

For the hard of thinking sisters, perhaps its because he isn't part of a wider group of people doing the same with global support and a number of followers that may number millions with a proven track record of terrorism. Like that other oft-quoted example of Anders Breivik, where the terminally stupid people of PH line up to ask why he isn't being condemned by his community and why no marches, it might just be because neither has any support that you can't count on one hand.
I'm assuming MarshPhantom will come back to this one. Quoting just to remind.iphonedyou said:
