The new Richmond MP just had a car crash interview withJulia Hartley-Brewer on Talk Radio.

JHB asked the obvious questions - when's the 2nd by-election? Why is a 4% by-election win a 'clear majority' but not in the referendum, etc.. Some attempt to answer, then she stopped talking and a LibDem press officer said she had to go to another interview!

I listened to the interview today and I am staggered that the LibDems think they have pulled something off here. It should be no surprise to any candidate that theyw ould have been expected to do a number of high profile interviews today. Anyone with their ear close to the ground would have anticipated this line of questioning - its not rocket science.

Ahahahaha. Another knock for the Tories' slender majority. Another knock for Brexit. Another right wing bigot kicked out of parliament.

Well done Richmond. A proud day for this country.

Gooood let the hate flow through you. Mwahahaha

Seriously I'd only give you a 2/10 for that insult (the clap bit got both points). You can do better

It wasn't an insult - though I should apologise for thinking you wouldn't get the clap in a literal sense.

I don't hate, 2016 has been just too good, BREXIT out, Cameron out, Clinton out, I just hope 2017 is as interesting and positive for the tolerant reasonable majority like myself.

Hahah much better, a solid 6/10 for that

Edit: you would've got 7/10 but you repeated that clap gag

It's quite clear to me that the people of Richmond didn't know what they were voting for.

Maybe they were 'low information' voters, seduced by BBC, Guardian and Economist propaganda, brainwashed by demagogues like Branson, Geldof and Blair. Can we trust people like this with the big decisions affecting us all, like who sits in parliament?
We need a second vote, a chance to get it right. The country needs saving from this kind of person.

Only that hilariously stty argument doesn't stack up does it.

Richmond park, as well as being pro-remain, is one of the most educated constituencies in the country. (I wonder if there's a relationship here). So as opposed to many leave voters (not all) who voted leave because 'its all those fking immigrants fault', the people of richmond probably made a more educated choice.

I do love the way that our lefties are consoling themselves with news that hasn't happened yet.

Let us review what has actually occurred.

We have voted to Leave the EU which we will do in 833 1/4 days.

Trump is going to be president of the United States.

The AGW scam is going to come to a halt.

2016 will be seen to be the year that the world came to its senses.

It's Lincolnshire. The people are a bit thick around those parts. Stick a blue rosette on a baboon's arse and it would win.
