There is a staggering amount of evidence from a myriad of journalists regarding links between UKIP members and overtly racist groups. Try this one selected at random:

However, I think we have concluded that your intention is to deliberately ignore all of the evidence.
Well you keep telling me this, but I'm not seeing it. Are you saying everyone in the EDL is racist?http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10481892/...
However, I think we have concluded that your intention is to deliberately ignore all of the evidence.
Can I be a friend of an EDL member without being a racist?
EDL members are a mix of the second two by the way. Some manage to hide it even from themselves.

This is definitely legit:
Seek help urgently. I've given up asking now, just observing those jumping on the "nothing to see here" wagon.
Oops. I just asked.
A few regulars seem to have joined confirmed the resident kippers and appear convinced Farage & his ilk are whiter than white when it comes to being a bit xenophobic/racist - no pun intended.
At least that's what I've taken from their posts today.

A large chuck of UKIP supporters aren't in all likelihood racist... but are politically aligned
To non UKIP supporters, it's hard to see past that undeniable loony element to UKIP, add that in with the history of links to racist members and you get people branding all UKIP supporters as racist
So there really is an impasse
If UKIP can shed that racist vibe that hangs around on occasion then they'll give labour and the Tory's a real run for their money.
Do I really think all UKIP supporters are racist?. NO
Do I think quite a few UKIP members indulge in a rhetoric that could be seen as racist ? Yes
Do I think that anyone on here cares what I think.? .... NO.

I can't respond to the next bit as I haven't got a clue what you are on about..not that it matters.
You like to take, make up, twist, contort, misrepresent whatever you like from posts regardless what they actually say so why change a habit of a lifetime?

I agree with all that. It's a shame more people can't accept that people who show support for UKIP aren't racists. Your last point is particularly relevant. A large chuck of UKIP supporters aren't in all likelihood racist... but are politically aligned

Some people on here seem to try and make people feel a sense of guilt or shame about things. Taking themselves too seriously I'd say.

Alfie "I do not think there is anything remotely xenophobic or racist about UKIP"
Alfie "I do think UKIP are a bit xenophobic & racist"
Other answers are available.
But avoiding an answer altogether does leave one wondering why it is so difficult to offer an opinion.

I'm pretty sure there is a tendency for some people to drink heavily when posting on here - it would explain a lot

It's all quite grubby,
Sad really
I'll gladly have a dig at all you mad UKIP'ers, but there are lines I won't cross, and people should take a long hard look at themselves. Point scoring by using a young girls death is appalling. And that goes for both sets of arguing parties

Not sure why it's in any way linked to UKIP though?

As I said at the start of this discussion UKIP have tried hard to enter the mainstream. They do not encourage racism or have racist policies. However, they have very clearly had an historic problem with racism and I suspect that a lot of their members and supports have learned to hide their views as opposed to changing them.
That does not mean that all UKIP supporters are racist. I am certain that is not the case.
