Talking of parasitic worms, that sniveling little t*rd Farron (apologies, but they are the words which spring to mind every time I see him) has gone to see Verhofstadt in Brussels to see if Brexit can be over turned from their end. Hopefully they will not even let him back into the UK.
THe Tower is still available for Traitors and we will have our chance to give our verdict at the next election.

UKIP supporters illustrating why we don't need to listen to experts again.
Indeed.

Ironic that an irrational dislike of immigration will quite possibly lead to the downfall of the United Kingdom.
There is not an irrational dislike of immigration into the UK, only a rational dislike of un controlled immigration, and the effects that that might have on the country.

Very emotive language ///ajd, a minor spat between a rich UKIP donor and a history professor brings you to that conclusion.

I guess today is not a good one, for you at least.

Personally I thought Russell Crowe was excellent, as was the soundtrack.
I always put the DVD on to make sure the surround sound is working laugh

Of course not; ajd's the one who can rightly be called irrational.

I don't know anyone whose main reason for voting to leave was immigration, though I accept that may have been the case with some. My acquaintances voted because they just didn't want to see the EU bring about 'the downfall of the United Kingdom', just as it has with Greece, Italy et al.

Yes, nothing to see here as we each "the peak of Anti-Expert season", to quote a comment in the paper.

Reminds me of when UKIPs were telling us the tides were not related to the moon or somesuch. Do you remember the simple explanation with a balloon on a stick? smile

Following on from the "Russell Crowe tells us about the Romans" theme, perhaps we can expect the Clangers to set future UKIP policy on support to the UK Space Industry?

Absolute Genius!

Indeed. LDs will gain a load of seats due to the fact that they represent 48%+ of the population as regards Brexit (giving the Conservatives a hiding in Richmond for starters)

You'll have to tell me, I'm far from an expert on UKIP, whereas you seem to know more about Farage than anyone else.

Your obsession with the Guy is a tad unhealthy, is there something else you're not telling us?

One for the wall laugh

rofl

You are still telling yourself that you won, aren't you?

461 Vs 89.

Oh dear, that was a much bigger kicking than you were given in the Referendum.
This is how democracy works. Many of you thought that Parliament is supreme. I told you all several months ago that the people would have a say at the next general election. I told you that the MPs would vote to keep their well paid jobs.

The House of Lords will also back down. If they don't, then they know that they will be replaced by an elected chamber.

It's all good fun.

I think that we should acknowledge that the Remain campaign had a very good case to put forward.

Perhaps it is time to elect our journalists. Who do these unelected so-called "journalists" think they are?

Its just market driven. Supply and demand.

There is demand to know who the traitors are so they can be hated.

Good old Ken Clarke. Stuck to his principles, and he's retiring anyway I guess.

I wouldn't laugh at UKIP too much with 4 million voters last time and a Labour Party in Brexit denial it wouldn't take too many more votes for them to get a sizeable representation in Westminster and the more the MP's look like cowards because they want someone to tell them which side of the fence to sit on the more UKIP will grow.
