But you don't actually think it is me. Good.
Now we've passed that, my position is pretty clear. I care a lot for my country and if we must Brexit, then I want it to be to our benefit, not our detriment.
I think it is traitorous to let your hatred of Europe overcome your concern for your country's wellbeing. Shouting "Brexit means Brexit" like a huffing simpleton doth butter no parsnips, I'm afraid. Brexit could take many different shapes depending on how these negotiations pan out, but unlike you, I don't think we should just give up and walk away with nothing if things get tough.
Who hates Europe? Now we've passed that, my position is pretty clear. I care a lot for my country and if we must Brexit, then I want it to be to our benefit, not our detriment.

Ahem, I'm a racist don't you know. Or is it xenophobic or isolationist or traitor? I can't remember if I'm a casual racist or one that isn't casual. I generally wear chinos and a polo or shirt if that helps..... It's all very confusing.
If some of your best friends are black then you can't be racist.Edited by anonymous-user on Sunday 22 January 16:13

Must we do this again? I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that Europe is synonymous with EU within the context of this thread.
Nope. It's fundamentally the wrong term. I know Clegg and Farron deliberately use the term Europe to make it sound more nasty and further their case, but those are not cretins you want to be associated with.Deptford Draylons said:

That's 5 key strokes
Europe is 6

Christ, that's a poor attempt at point scoring, even by your woeful standards.

in my opinion inflation is actually a non-negotiatable requirement of the uk in order to help shift the national debt pile and keep consumer spending going.
moderate levels of inflation is something to be welcomed not feared. this is the opposite to somewhere like germany where inflation is economic kryptonite.
A fair point. It seems to me though that consumer and household debt is so high that were inflation to spark a rate rise all hell would break loose. There is also the assumption that gouvernments can control inflation. Often they can't. I don't think they have any hope of doing so in this case as the effect on the pound of A50 being triggered (of course, as everybody on here conveniently forgets - this has not happened) is an unknown. Most likely bad, but an unknown. We have yet to really feel the sting of the fall in the pound that we've so far seen. To make out all is rosy, as some posters on here do, is real hostage to fortune stuff. It's like the 'Masque of the Red Death' with Death as inflation.moderate levels of inflation is something to be welcomed not feared. this is the opposite to somewhere like germany where inflation is economic kryptonite.

If it makes me look foolish to admit I type one word more quickly than another then so be it, I guess. I can't say I'll let it bother me.

Still genuinely sad aren't you. Get a grip and realise Europe isn't the EU.

Once more:
Within the context of a thread about Brexit, I was under the impression that the (much faster for me to type) word 'Europe', would be understood as 'EU' rather than as my literally meaning the collection of countries, especially given how often the debate seems to have been had on here.
Got it? I'm off for dinner now so if not, I'm afraid it an explanation using simple pictures will need to wait until later.
