Trump promises national health care after repeal of Obamacare (Romneycare ).
No surprise to anyone that looked beyond the media narrative, ofc. He ain't a modern conservative.

It's excellent that Trump plans to (re)implement national healthcare. If he'd repealed the ACA and not replaced it, I imagine it would only have been a matter of time before senators started getting shot by cancer patients et al. I mean really, what do you have to lose at that point? If your senator has effectively sentenced you to death by repealing the ACA, what better way is there for your cause to be heard?

Channel 4 News the brilliant and totally impartial news programme is leading on the Trump Interview. they have a conservative guest and err Caroline Lucas of the Green Party
I have heard the word environment and climate 5 times now
Ah my regular TV "news" feed. Or wee boiler. Can't believe they "the left" as their primary prime biased outlet, are arguing over a bonfire of environmental regulation and social regulation due the suggestion that we will sign a a free trade deal with the US in "weeks".... yes Trump said "weeks" but we have to leave the EU, potentially 2 yrs after triggering Art50, and the protectionist US have taken as min 4yrs to sign any. I wouldn't take Trump at his word, and his limited vocabulary, once the govt machine gets involved. I'd look at it as a welcome indication of a willingness by the incoming president to bring forward (front of queue) negotiation on improved trade, and possible FTA and that's a good thing. Nothing more.I have heard the word environment and climate 5 times now
But not for the left, it's Armageddon!

What a nuisance that people who have different perspectives to the dependency culture and tax-mad-nanny-knows-best-left-illiberalism of Billary ('cultural codes and religious beliefs have to change') still get to vote! With opinions of their own, no less. How dare they?! And they voted her down the tubes. Plop.
Not to worry, you only have 4 to 8 years to cope with the delightful typicals. Then maybe more with a new comedy villain. Chin up!

I'm now enjoying a Dispatches expose of Trumps "Dirty Secrets" I haven't seen anything yet, it's all in the public domain.

As that article in The Spectator put it (very well) the world is changing in ways that the British Left cannot comprehend.
You're quite probably correct. It appears they have to get used to a load of braying smug self-centred tts barreling about the place thinking they own everyone for a few years at least.minimoog said:

For a while it looked as though Hillary supporters had gone suitably quiet as befits losers who had previously trumpeted their inevitable victory, but from your post it appears they're now pretending to be Trump supporters.
Nope sorry. I've read that three times now and I haven't a clue what your blithering on about.I am warming to him.
There really is a chance he can really do a lot of good.
He is lining up a lot of heavy hitters around him
Just keep him away from twitter (pretty please )and the big red button...... (really pretty please ) and he could just might.... make the world a better place.
Twitter feeds will stop when he is sworn in.
He win dial it down a notch.
But.. he isn't going to be passive.
