The era of desinformation is here, white is indeed black as an alternative view

Pumpkin has lost the plot, wonder how the current administration will make us look the other, is it dropping the a bomb somewhere ?

Just watched the news, something like this happened:

Journalist: the turnout was less than Obama. It's a fact. Fewer were there. The photos show it.
Trump spokeswoman: you are wrong, it was higher
Journalist: but it's a fact it was lower how can you say otherwise?
Trump spokeswoman: I am telling you like it is, the alternative fact
Journalist: ??? There can only be one fact
Trump spokeswoman: grumpy

At least the chap above had a real reason for his lies and bluster.

As long as you're born in the USA and over 35 years old any muppet can run for President.

When you look back at the history of US Presidents it's like a long line of car crashes really. Even Obama who I have a lot of respect for had two terms with his hands tied behind his back.

Surely Trump won't be the worst of a bad lot will he?
betfair pros think he'll be good, they currently give 15/10 on him to win 2020 elections which is around 40% chances, the closest rival has 10%.

That's ridiculous longterm bet on someone aged 70 who might also face several assassination attempts on the way...

I'd be surprised if he lasts until the mid terms without being impeached.

Bill Clinton was impeached 2 years into his 2nd term wasn't he? He managed to survive that one despite being charged with perjury and obstruction of justice.

I think Trump will be very unlikely to be impeached unless he does something criminal whilst in office.

Clinton also left with a very high rating so who knows what goes on there.

It obvious what went on, he was guilty as hell but virtually every senator in his party and a few in the opposition with political ambitions voted Not Guilty when he clearly was guilty.

Not saying he was a bad president but he was guilty as hell and a bit stupid thinking no one would find out what he was up to.

But that was over something quite trivial most other countries would overlook anyhow.

Trumps business ties are where people will be looking.

The difference here is that his own party seem to want to impeach him - Mike Pence is a much better choice as far as they're concerned.

Which is a pretty bad reflection on the republicans. I'm not sure what would be worse. A pathological liar and a narcissist or a religious extremist who believes in creationism. Having said that Trump is anti science too with his views on vaccination being particularly disturbing.

All the bhin, whinging, crying, name calling, pointing at the number that may or may not have been in a crowd doesn't alter one basic fact.

The 45th President of the United States of America is Donald J Trump.

Obama has gone and Hillary lost.
Deal with it and move on.
