Sure, but it is one thing to be "different" or "not more of the same"; it's another to post stuff like this. I don't see how you can't be different or refreshing without posting things like that.

I've found a lot of his stuff a bit weird, but when he's actively telling people to buy from company Y it's more than a bit odd to me, seems frankly absurd. But that is just me

From memory, media accounts in e.g. the LA Times, Boston Globe, and even Vanity Fair. That said, the LA Times has also published a contrary view.

Neither do I, but then I didn't make the claim that he had.

It's possible that some of his people are leakier than the Russian women he allegedly entertained - or rather, that entertained him.
