I think most people would raise an eyebrow to any head of state posting stuff like this: https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/8195419...

I'd honestly expect him to have more important things to do with his time.
He isn't a head of state yet, not that you said he was, and by all accounts recognises that the same type of social media comms policy won't be appropriate as potus. Which is a shame; here's hoping he doesn't morph into something spinny.
Sure, but it is one thing to be "different" or "not more of the same"; it's another to post stuff like this. I don't see how you can't be different or refreshing without posting things like that.

I've found a lot of his stuff a bit weird, but when he's actively telling people to buy from company Y it's more than a bit odd to me, seems frankly absurd. But that is just me smile

Will he pay any attention when they tell him he can't have a smartphone laugh

Which accounts are these?

And isnt PEOTUS the same thing? How is it different in terms of influence across the country?
From memory, media accounts in e.g. the LA Times, Boston Globe, and even Vanity Fair. That said, the LA Times has also published a contrary view.

He's not yet head of state, whatever influence he has.

Feel free to post a link to any outlet, biased or otherwise, that shows that Trump DOESN'T tell significantly more lies than Hillary and/or Walter Mitty.

I did a highly academic 2-3 minutes on google and every source showed Trump to be an OUTRAGEOUS liar, vs. everyone else being a merely common-or-garden variety BS merchant.
The burden of proof falls on the individual making a claim.

Will a year be enough time for your scientific analysis?
Fair point!
No idea how long it would take - and even then you could easily accuse me of bias (justifiably)!

Do they have any facts from him saying he will tone down his Twitter or are they 'Fake News'?

I dont recall seeing him say that anywhere.

And even if he isnt Head of State yet, its still reckless of him because he knows the influence he has.

One point which was made recently was about Trump tweeting about companies and the effect on their share price.

If you know in advance what companies he was going to tweet about, you could make a killing on short selling their shares.

Putin.....our hookers are the best in the world. laugh

"He also suggested Mr Trump would not have fallen for a honey trap if one had been laid, asking: "He arrived here and immediately ran off to meet Moscow prostitutes?"

"This is an adult and, moreover, a man who for many years has organised beauty contests. He socialized with the most beautiful women in the world. I can hardly imagine he rushed to the hotel to meet our girls of lower social responsibility -even though they are the best in the world, of course."

Neither do I, but then I didn't make the claim that he had.

It's possible that some of his people are leakier than the Russian women he allegedly entertained - or rather, that entertained him.

Never seen so many self righteous pompous people be so offended so easily and its great. Just hope he keeps tweeting its go all the press and politicians spinning. However fairly sure it will cease after Friday which is a shame because he has had more response from China. Mexico and Russian than Obama had in eight years.

Bob Woodward calling the "Trump Dossier" garbage.

Also some nice posts on Wiki reminding us how the FBI threatened MLK with a sex smear.

Weird Fox is showing live a press conference of someone announcing in Los Angeles that she has filed suit for defamation (in relation to sexual misconduct) denied by Trump in New York, and no one is broadcasting it live in the U.K. Not Sky, not CNN, not BBC but channel 4 hinted at it. I had to find on FB.

That she's filing fair enough, but why are no one showing it. BBC reporting it now. Apprentice contestant...

Did you? If so I can't see it anywhere. Probably because PH is biased. It's owned by Haymarket, see? Follow the money....
