Weird Fox is showing live a press conference of someone announcing in Los Angeles that she has filed suit for defamation (in relation to sexual misconduct) denied by Trump in New York, and no one is broadcasting it live in the U.K. Not Sky, not CNN, not BBC but channel 4 hinted at it. I had to find on FB.

That she's filing fair enough, but why are no one showing it. BBC reporting it now. Apprentice contestant...

It was interesting how Trump referred to refugees in Germany as 'illegals' to Michael Gove, and Gove did not correct him. The casual ignorance is really breathtaking.

How many of them are illegal economic migrants that have destroyed their papers? A lot, I'm willing to bet.

Anyway, news breaking now suggests that a private prosecution is being sought against Trump for sexual harassment. The cynical side of me says this is simply another calculated attempt to destabilise him and the allegations will go up in smoke once the tabloid damage has been done

Interesting information on the Trump family history tonight on TV.

Donald's grandfather was German, left Bavaria aged 16 for America, made a decent success then went back to Germany to settle and start a family. As he had been out of Germany for 8 years he had to re-apply for German Citizenship.

The local town mayor applied on his behalf as he wanted to have him in the town, the Bavarian Government refused because as a 16 year old kid he didn't ask permission from the Government to go to America. It went right up to the highest level of Bavarian Government and they issued a deportation notice, kicking him out of Germany and forcing him to return to the USA.

So we will soon have a new USA President, who's grandfather was deported from Bavaria, his home state, against his will and who had a mother who was proudly British.

It is the way they are are all lumped in together. Let's be clear, but for our pure luck in being born where we were, that could be us. Think about it.

Ok, thanks for clearing up who 'Lily' is. I am afraid I am a bit out of touch having been out of the UK for most of the last 20 years, so I am regrettably unable to comment on what Lily might have to do with refugees.

As to your question 'How many have you taken in'? I am slightly lost here as well, I am sorry to say. Do you mean how many refugees have I personally taken into my house? If so, the answer is none. I am 5,500 miles away from there but I would not do so if I was home. Are people taking refugees into individual households in Europe?

T-shirts are a good analogy at some of the things Don Trump is getting at with regard to keeping manufacturing at home, as a t-shirt collector back in the 80s and further back there were hundreds of US companies making good quality t-shirts, companies like Screen Stars, Hanes, Champion, Plymouth etc but any new t-shirt from the US today will probably be manufactured in Nicaagua or China, cheap and nasty and not helping the US economy at all.

Good guess. The desperation to talk things down is really quite pathetic. Anyone who can't see through this like it's transparent is a simpleton.

Did it mention how Trump and his father pretended the family was originally Swedish, rather than admit to German heritage? He kept using that lie until about 1990.

Or willing to go along with the dreck being broadcast because they're still in denial over the death of failed left-(il)liberalism.

The regularity with which you trot out this kind of gibberish mantra shows you to be just about the most obsessed person on PH. And you've the nerve to tell others they can't get over anything.

You're an absolute freak.
