I haven't said anyone was racist.

Some people may be fed up. But not a majority in America.

A majority here were though. It would have been interesting what your view would have been if our system was that after the popular vote, parliament voted to remain anyway.

I personally think it's a strange system in america but that is they system and I respect trump won fair and square. BUT HE WASNT THE MOST POPULAR.

Its not the same thing. You clearly don't understand my point though so I am suggesting you are stupid personally.

Edited by p1stonhead on Friday 20th January 22:18
your an idiot you make rules up that nobody recognises. Our system means we often create a Gov with a poor turn out and a 40-45% of the voting public which actually means about 25-30% of people elect the Government.
The reason Hilary got more Votes is she won areas with big populations but not the Electoral college. She was popular in those areas but not popular enough to win.
Is English your first language? How am I 'making up rules'?

Just because you had a poor turn out doesn't mean trump was more popular in any way.

'The reason Hillary won [the popular vote] was that she won areas with with big populations laugh yeah it's called being MORE POPULAR

I mean you say people assume trump supporters are stupid but you literally are one of the most stupid people
I have come across. No sugar coating any more.

You can't just deny away the numbers like trump tries to.

Hillary won the popular vote. Fact. How can you people literally not realise how stupid you look trying to justify over and over that Trump was somehow more popular. It's a fact. Do you think this is FAKE NEWS?

'Everyone is fed up! She wasn't more popular I promise frown' WAAAAAAAAAA!

Ridiculous rofl

"Some people may be fed up. But not a majority in America." Utter, utter nonsense. Everyone is fed up, other than the dead Americans and the illegals that voted for Killary.
Numbers don't lie unlike you. Maybe you don't actually realise you are trying to actually change history and have a different version in your head? You are a minority in wanting trump. Simple as it comes and you can't change it. It's funny to see you try though.

Is this an attempt to show that people in the country are are more spread out than people in cities? Because that's all it is. You know it's not a population map? Do you think really obese people are two people? You know bigger doesn't mean a multiple in quantity?

In Oval Office news, Trump has had the curtains replaced with gold ones which seem to match his hair, and the Churchill bust is back in the room..

OK, daft question time.

I thought US Presidents were sworn in with their left hand on the "Lincoln Bible".

Now pics from today and from Obama's inauguration clearly show two very different books. Can somebody educate me?
They use a bible of their own choice.

The West Wing said:
President Josiah "Jed" Bartlet: [frustrated at not being able to get a Bible he likes for his swearing in] Okay, you know what? Washington didn't bring his own Bible, he just assumed one would be provided, which, frankly, isn't unreasonable. Guy wants you to swear an oath on a Bible, he ought to be packing a Bible. Washington didn't bring one; he just assumed one would be provided. Just common courtesy, I think. "Place your hand on this Bible. And, oh, can I borrow your Bible?" That's not right.

Obama used 2 bibles when he took his oath of office - one was the Lincoln bible, the other was Martin Luther King's bible.

He has the power to do a lot. I just think his economic plans are unrealistic given how the world currently operates.
on that note is it the case the american economy is that big they could function perfectly well operating a completely different system ? they way the world works is down to how people make it work, other people might like it to work differently and yet others may be able to achieve that. not saying it will happen, just that it is a possibility.

it seems you are saying that no matter who or what the people of any nation elect ,non elected global entities will decide policy for everyone ? i happen to think that is what has been happening, i also would like to see it change. whether trump is the person to affect that change remains to be seen, the fact he is now president of the united states is still all a bit surreal for me .his stance on "climate change" alone does give me some hope though.

Hilary did indeed win the popular vote.

The only problem was Trump was not running that race.

He won the electoral colleges which is the required requisite for becoming president.

And she didn't.

Again - totally not the point I was making. The point I was making is that she was a more popular choice than Trump.

I have said time and time again that Trump won fair and square. But he was less popular with Americans.

Oh he is the expert you know.....he knows everything years ahead, it is not magic but knowledge. He knows what you think, what I and everybody thinks. With this skill his view has to be 100% correct and all others who think there may be a chance of change are deluded.

So he's going to make the poor wealthy and totally eradicate ISIS and terrorism......ermmm OK then, good luck with that.

And without reading through all the posts since yesterday I take it there's loads of talk of 'sky fairies' and 'Sky pixes' and mental illness with Donald J Trump praising God or Allah as he's known to some.
I despise religion.

You made two statements there, one on morals which is subjective, the other on corruption which is not. Do you have/can you present the evidence for the later ?

Do you have evidence of someone currently 100% dependent on it, going back on globalism and it making the home country richer without rising prices across the various industries?

We know how globalism works and how rich it's made people like Donald Trump whilst screwing a lot of the little guys. Any evidence of it working the other way?

Sources would be good please.
