The phrase : "God Loves a trier" will be very apt to him and especially the above.
He will claim as hard as he can he tried, but others let him down, won't let him tackle 'things' the way he wants. The (supporting) American People will forgive him because he tried.
Not quite sure how the 'Most Powerful Man' in the world has people that won't do as he says, but there you go.
I think if he get blocked by either house he will name and shame the culprits he takes things very personally. If you can ignore his questionable personal traits having someone call out all the slacker Politicians would be a good thing. Imagine if we could rid the world of the Miliband's ,Blairs and Mendleson's of this world. He will claim as hard as he can he tried, but others let him down, won't let him tackle 'things' the way he wants. The (supporting) American People will forgive him because he tried.

The first 100 days could be very interesting. I think if he fails to deliver signs of meaningful change to the old coal & steel areas within that time, he'll lose the support of that section of the population. A lot of that demographic seem to be those who rarely vote or have an interest in politics but were persuaded by his rhetoric.
I'm more concerned by some of his potential appointments to his cabinet - an education secretary who thinks some schools may need guns to protect them against bears, for example, or not understanding a federal law regarding disabled children's rights to education.
Plenty of sources for this http://www.npr.org/sections/ed/2017/01/18/51041723... , for example.

I guess people will either swallow the crazy, or give the GoP a thumping in 2018.
Who knows... Imagine you're a former coal worker suffering from black lung. Currently getting free medical care thanks to Obama care (act places burden of proof on employers to show they didn't cause the condition).
Trump wants that act replaced in a very short timescale, so there's the chance of screwups and some people losing their healthcare.
Coal worker loses his healthcare, plus doesn't see regeneration of his town as promised, so flips out and decides it's time to take pot shots at the president.
Wouldn't even need to kill him, I think even a failed assassination attempt might be enough to make Trump stand down.

There's actually a very strong correlation between schools which have guns and bear attacks - in fact there's never been a serious bear attack at a school where all the teachers / students were armed - another thing that the MSM doesn't report.I'm more concerned by some of his potential appointments to his cabinet - an education secretary who thinks some schools may need guns to protect them against bears, for example, or not understanding a federal law regarding disabled children's rights to education.

Just because you had a poor turn out doesn't mean trump was more popular in any way.
'The reason Hillary won [the popular vote] was that she won areas with with big populations yeah it's called being MORE POPULAR
I mean you say people assume trump supporters are stupid but you literally are one of the most stupid people
I have come across. No sugar coating any more.
You can't just deny away the numbers like trump tries to.
Hillary won the popular vote. Fact. How can you people literally not realise how stupid you look trying to justify over and over that Trump was somehow more popular. It's a fact. Do you think this is FAKE NEWS?
'Everyone is fed up! She wasn't more popular I promise ' WAAAAAAAAAA!
Ridiculous
Hilary did indeed win the popular vote.Just because you had a poor turn out doesn't mean trump was more popular in any way.

The only problem was Trump was not running that race.
He won the electoral colleges which is the required requisite for becoming president.
And she didn't.
I have said time and time again that Trump won fair and square. But he was less popular with Americans.

Shush! You're not supposed to mention that people hold views other the politically correct dogma that the SJWs like to push. Thought crime detected.
Abortion rights is SJW politically-correct dogma.:makes note:
Surprising how they didn't have a go at god for the Obama administration but I guess the man upstairs didn't get involved for those 8 years

And the first thing he does is dismantle the healthcare initiative designed to provide care to all citizens?
I'm not an expert on Obamacare, but from anecdotes from one or two people who are on it, the gist I remember is that it is very expensive (and mandatory) and it's of pretty much no benefit to them. IIRC they were actually in a position where they had to pay for Obamacare and then pay extra for a separate treatment for something or other.minimoog said:

One of the hallmarks of the SJWs is making everything they think should be the case on contentious issues (like abortion for example, which IS very contentious) a 'right' and labelling anyone who disagrees with their position, some sort of bigot out to oppress them.:makes note:

The massive health insurance hikes that many Americans experienced thanks to Obamacare was probably a major contributing factor helping Trump in the election. If Obama wanted to offer universal healthcare he should either have gone the state-proved route (a la NHS) or else opened up the ridiculously complex, locked-in US health insurance market to all-comers. If you do a little reading on US healthcare, it's a total nightmare even for the people who have coverage, with certain doctors, clinics and hospitals locked into specific insurance companies and many other areas having a monopoly healthcare provider.

Indeed, US healthcare is an utter scam. The government (not the country as a whole, just the government) spends more per head of population on healthcare than the UK government does, and it gets effectively fk all for it.
