Why do you think?
I'd rather not try and second guess your thought process on this matter so would prefer it if you tried to explain yourself if you want to debate.

Maybe on the specific abortion thread rather than this one.
I thought it was pretty obvious, but fair enough, we'll leave it.

It's this believing in sky pixes that worries me, this is why America can't ever be trusted to do anything, they are obsessed with trusting everything to 'God' and actually believe he looks over them...but only them and their allies...it's mental ..

Also Trump says he can eradicate ISIS totally.....and end terrorism... does anyone think he will?
He also said he'll be able to fix the gun crime in Chicago's ghettos in a week. Domestic urban terrorism that takes 1000's of lives every year and is rife in every US city. That NEEDS be his first priority before worrying about isis. And as for all that mumbo jumbo about god, it was just dropped in there to appease the very large contingent of bible bashing simpletons that voted for him.

That's what worried me most, that he will say anything to appease those types of people even if he doesn't really believe it himself. Basically just like most Politicians and members of the establishment then.
Nothing will really change, the world will go on with daily instances of death and destruction, terrorism, gun crimes etc etc. The poor will for the most part stay poor and down trodden, heavy industry will remain pretty much defunct in the towns in USA that have fallen into the abyss.
he's given himself the kind of job that if i were rich beyond my wildest dreams thanks to inheriting Daddys money I'd avoid like the plague. I can't help think with Donald that he's beyond happy to of won the Presidency, but less happy with the fact wining wasn't actually the hard part in retrospect. What a mammoth task, even by any politicians standards he's got a lot of promises to keep.

Slightly OT but he is really really short, surprised me when I met him.

Oppsy. looks like the National Park service has upset the T man whilst tweeting the pictures of attendance vs Obama. Wonder if we are to see a vindictive streak.

Well, I for one think it's important to stress that the current herd of intolerant, whiny SJWs who profess to be 'liberal' are most certainly NOT liberal and bring shame on generally liberal minded people who have values of open-mindedness and respect for other views.

'Illiberal' is a very good way to mock them for both their intolerance and to draw attention to their gross misappropriation of the 'liberal' ethos, keep going turbobloke. clap
True enough

Liberalism stood for freedom of speech and democracy, neither of which are much championed by those who call themselves "liberal" these days.

I was starting to worry about you - you hadn't used the term 'illiberalism' for at least a dozen posts.
Now that he's finished wking off to his pictures of Milo Yiannopolous and Donald Trump he's back. It's turbobingo time. Any odds for the next cliche he repeats?

Interesting. So what about your whiny president? Do you think he's tolerant of any criticism? Does his twitter account reflect a gracious man with erudite responses or a pathetic child with a thin skin?

Let me guess your response....

fairly sure Michael Moore is suggesting Trump will be assassinated within 4 to 5 months. These peace loving liberals are quite nasty aren't they.

I would say that they're more fascist in their intolerance. They certainly are not liberal in any form!

I think that perhaps part of the problem is that they have had it all their own way for so long, belittling others who hold different views is unfathomable to them. The ideological pendulum swung way too far for the left, and now we are witnessing a correction. I just hope it doesn't swing too far the other way.

In some ways I hope it does just to see how far they breakdown.

No just observing your rank hypocrisy. On the one hand supportive of a narcissist with an incredibly thin skin and preponderance to embarrassingly histrionic responses, on the other claiming his opponents are intolerant, over sensitivity be and whiny. It's very funny really. You seem to be similarly thin skinned. Why not take to twitter to say how unfair it is??

Please show me where I said I liked him or thought he was anything other than dreadful......I have said he was the one who offered a choice/alternate option to the US voter rather than the same old st that H Clinton has. A choice that may or may not work.

Really, you do conform to type.
