Trump in office, day one……Trump’s press secretary and Trump himself have been accusing the media today of lying about the fact that Obama had a much bigger crowd at both of his inaugurations than Trump, and they are both lying, and presumably, must know they are lying. There are figures available for public transport as well as photos which simply show the facts. This press secretary, Sean Spicer, yells, is visibly upset and looks like he might have a heart attack at any moment. It is not really such a big deal that they had fewer people there, but it is very interesting how they have chosen to lie from day one, and doing so on something where they were bound to be found out seems comically stupid as well as dishonest. That does not bode well at all for the future.

That picture is not really a true representation though,Trumps supporters are not,in the main,Washington residents. They live hundreds or thousands of miles away,so did not make the journey.2009 was the first black President, the crowds will be bigger for the first women President and bigger still for the first black women President.

I think we need to wait and judge President Trump on his actions rather than the size of his crowd support.

That doesn't stop the media, and Facebook users getting into a proper froth about this though. People love a bandwagon.

Who cares how big the crowds were anyway...

Trump cares due to his tissue paper skin laugh
https://twitter.com/cnn/status/822905373493297152

The video of his press secretary attacking the press for reporting what happened is scary though. They are so DESPERATE to be liked that they are willing to attack the press about things that they had no reason to other than being whiny little children. What sort of legitimate power would be so absolutely petty?!

"This was the largest crowd to witness an inauguration ever, period" rofl

"That's what you guys should be writing and covering!"

The video is astounding.

Almost as thin as left-illiberal skin, judging by their reaction when somebody with different views to theirs is elected. Has the wailing and whining stopped yet...no need to look or listen to get the answer. It's only the President of the United States, a bit of common purpose activism from hippies and public sector jonnies and jennies will soon sort him out.

Apparently some rich celebs couldn't distinguish between a nation's highest office and the incumbent, no doubt thinking of the impact it would have on their record sales, box office, media coverage and other self-interests. Not that proof was required that you need neither brains nor backbone to be a celeb but this is it.

Libtard politicians and their faithful useful genius followers preach power to the people, tolerance and inclusion but what they practice as seen before the eyes of the world right now is a wish for continued power to a big spending big government nanny state, intolerance, exclusion, vilification. No doubt these glitterati are still wondering why votes are going against them in the UK and USA "we din't get our message across" nuts with more likely to follow.

You're (deliberately I assume) arguing a different point. The pictures have been posted as Trump claimed his crowd was bigger.

Blaming the left for your Presidents public crying is a new level of desperate laugh

The fact that you can't even acknowledge the point made about your commander in chief is telling.

They've caught themselves in a bit of a credibility loop, by his overuse of twitter and having to defend his own compulsive nonsense he legitimises other peoples wastes of time, a bit like this forum really. Obviously we ll hope he and his team will rise above it and employ something resembling an adult persona but looks like that's not going to happen.

Something bothers me about the Trump inauguration photo. Why, if there were so few people, would anyone choose to crowd in a group right at the very back? Surely if you're nuts enough to travel there and see this occasion you'd automatically try and get as far forward as possible.

Is it possible photos taken later will show bigger crowds?

Still doesn't excuse the fact their idiots for saying his crowds were bigger than Obama's. The 1st Black President was always going to have huge crowds and no matter what you think of him, Obama was a real draw.

I'm not panicking at all, merely pointing out the rank hypocrisy from people labelling his critics as snowflakes etc when he himself is mentally unstable and has a laughably poor ability to control himself and his emotions.
is mentally unstable, really ?

As a "qualified person" you are happy to speak like that, you are happy with the accuracy of your analysis and that certain of your diagnostics ?

Most if not all the people on here posting have never been to D.C. it is like libtard central. The inner core are wealthy elites and the outcome is ghetto, all sucking on the tits on welfare. There not happy there lifeline is being cut.

D.c. is super expensive and there is no parking. The transit system is expensive. I would not waste my time and money going there again. I'm going to bed.

So was it the biggest crowd ever as claimed by Trump or did they not get there as you claim? rofl

That is not the point. The point is that Trump and his press liar have both said they had a bigger crowd than Obama. In fact Trump said it was the biggest inauguration crowd ever. They also claimed the photo framing was different to exaggerate Obama's crowd when it clearly isn't.

Lying his arse off from day one to feed his ego. Great start America!

Yet despite the transit system being expensive, according to you the crowds flocked when Obama became president.

Either way it makes no difference if trump had 1 person or 1 million people in the crowd , he is now president.

Maybe it was a case of trump was the least st of 2 stty options so although people voted him in , they weren't exactly over the moon about it?

It was the biggest crowd, it just happened to be spread over the whole country wink

In which case that makes it the biggest crowd by number of people and area covered!
