Trump's holding a rally in Florida at the weekend. I guess he's not been feeling the love enough lately and needs an ego boost.

He's not going on holiday for the weekend?

Meaning?
Don't inhale? Something like that, maybe, and then move purposefully to the on-topic element I posted that your reply ignored, something which even now might well be a good idea rather than extending yet again the off-topic angle inherent to your snowflake post which you snipped from the above nest.

OP: 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.

First rally as President, allegedly. I haven't been counting but others have. Interesting to see how it pans out, if it goes ahead.

The US intelligence services don't appear to trust the President. This will end badly and I'm guessing that Trump will be the loser, but who knows.
Leaks to the press from that direction will have a massive effect (strengthening) on Trumps position and public support.
The US public know that those places are full to the brim of self interest & lies, historical collusion with "terrorist groups & undermining of legitimate governments (even if disliked). The past 20 years and since the USSR collapsed they have meddled with a free hand.

Just the Obama/Clinton collaboration with various Muslim fanatical groups is frightening in its possibilities.
Be interesting to see his approval ratings after the last few days. I doubt very much that what seem to be displays of incompetence and mistrust will translate into a massive strengthening of his position but lets see.

Amazing selective memory there forgetting previous US govt support for Wahhabism and other extremist regimes in the past, rather blaming Obama and Clinton. I don't think the American people will be impressed if it appears that Trump is in the pocket and pay of Russia.

While Orwell's 1984 was an accurate preview of the future, the biggest mistake in the story is the dystopian world where everything is dark, cold, gray and everybody is poor.

Those who run the show know the minions will not be happy and jump off the wheel if they are not given shiny st. Give the people their smartphones, smart tv's, soap operas, sports etc to keep them happy. It's an illusion that most people do not want to realize. People would rather be enslaved in "the matrix" and have shiny st than have true freedom. For that reason there will never be true global freedom in my lifetime anyway.

Everyday people are taking the red pill and realizing just what the fk is going on.
Have you read Huxley?

Similar theme as orwell as a futurist prediction, but an entirely different angle.

Might be worth a google. would link you stuff, but it all seems to e relating it t trump at the moment, which is not what I was trying to say

Not sure the Russkies are the biggest villains in the world these days when it comes down tot the lives of individual Americans.
I think when you get to a certain level, it's less about nationalities, more about groups. Groups of rich oligarchs, Russian/American, they are the biggest (unseen and unhindered threat). The nationality thing is just a game that they use to hep control things. Very similar to what that book alludes to above.
The nationality thing is a slightly less virulent mind virus on the same lines as religion/royalty.

Completely agree.

Let's be honest, if Trump and Putin can make a genuine lasting peace then effectively the FBI and CIA are out of a job. They've probably been creating an "us and them" situation since the end of WW2 just to keep their cushy Public sector non-jobs and padded pensions. Remember the story about Trump/Russian hotel/prostitutes/watersports? Completely made up! If there was any truth in the matter the guys who publicised it would be in fear for their lives, and Putin would have used it to try and get the sanctions lifted.

.
It would be interesting to see some proof that they have any measurable effect whatsoever on the lives of an average American at the moment, other than the poor saps having to endure the incessant shrill rants from the hand-in-glove propaganda outlets of a presidential candidate who lost in a most spectacular fashion.

To be fair to Trump, reports on this quote him as considering the matter, saying he might sign a new order, not quite the same as saying he would or will sign. Another 'wait and see' matter.

He probably needs to consult further with Twitter, his son in law and the bloke from Breitbart before he decides.

never watched the Apprentice but did see him on a programme about his Golf Course in Scotland and he came across as somebody that could only cope if things went his way and if they didn't he would kick off big style.
Not a very nice person but his single mindedness and drive has taken him some distance and what bothers me is not him but the other Morons who think because they moan and bh and Cry they are somehow more important than all the people who voted for him. We seem to be heading towards polar opposites in Politics with left and right extreme views getting far too much air time. The "shouty people" are taking over.

How do you lose spectacularly when you won the pipukar vote? I suppose it looks like that to someone who thinks that the WTC buildings were demolished in some "freefall" detonation.

She lost btw. Anyone sane accepts that, but sane people don't claim she lost in a "most spectacular fashion".
