The mistake you are making is to think that fascism happened "70 fking years" ago and then went away.

I think this is where some people fall down. No one is saying that Islamic extremism isn't a pressing problem. I know that the right believe the left are saying that - but that's because they've gotten all hysterical about the left like its some sort of bogeyman (we aren't even talking proper left, we are talking left leaning/left of centre/even left edge of centre).
